poole<daniels<howard<edwards?

how would you rate these four? i think that poole and howard will be given the opportunity to start this year alongside madison, with poole winning the job. Where does daniels come into play? was he purely BPA< or a need pick, or both? i dont think we are near confident in reggie howards ability, and by the end of the year, i wouldnt be surprised if daniels end up in the nickel spot over howard.....there is also the possibility of daniels or mario edwards trying to convert to FS at some point, but im not sure either of those would work....
so how about you guys post your predictions for how our CB depth will look 17...

Regardless of the fact that you're not impressed by Edwards, there is no way Daniels is ranked higher than him. Edwards has been a starter in this league for crying out loud!

Daniels will be given the opportunity to play CB, but could end up moved to safety, the way I see it. I think Poole will start but will have to beat Howard in camp to do it, Edwards will claim the nickel CB job, Daniels will battle for the dime job or a safety role, and Howard will just be a reserve.

Thats one high priced reserve.

I think Poole is the best of the bunch. He has the most upside and is a perfect corner for Sabans zone scheme defence. Poole is bigger type of cb and has all the physical tools you would look for for a cb.

Daniels might play some dime and come in for Tebucky in 4 or 5 WR setups, but he will mostly play special teams this year, he could break into being the back up FS on the depth chart though if he beats out Bell or Tillman.

howard is making way too much to be a reserve. i believe he and poole will compete for the job opposite sam, and poole wil beat him out. howard is use to playing nickel already for us, so that shouldnt be a problem. but if daniels comes on strong in preseason or because of an injury to someone else, and howard fails to impress, howard becomes very expendable next year........

I see Poole & Madison starting. Howard & Edwards backups & Nickel packages. I think Daniels can do both cb & safety. Great bench guy for now, maybe dime package. Will probably be a cb for now untill he learns NFL offenses more then move to the safety positions once he learns how to read offenses.

I don't know about the rest, but I believe Will Poole will start and be fine. A young CB also will benefit from our pass rush which could be very interesting now that we have Roth too! He might hurt someone!
