Poor Dion!

Sad for everyone involved. Sad to think our former staff may have played a big role in derailing this guy's career. How many others were affected by previous regime? How far would Tannehill be in his development?

Your taking the tact that coaching is the reasoning behind Dion's downfall. Honestly I think this is a rare view on this poor lads journey. I subscribe to the idea that it was some bad decisions on his part, coupled with being comfortable with his sizable signing bonus, and his talents being overestimated due to combine numbers. Add a healthy dose of being just plain dumb(failing drug/steroid tests) and there you go… Instant bust. Not glamorous, but that probably what really went down.

I'll even go further and throw out perhaps he suffers from his own self-doubt. It's almost convenient how he keeps finding ways not to get on the field therefore perhaps avoiding actually failing and removing all doubt.

The Dolphins said they released Jordan because he failed his physical concerning his knee. The Seahawks signed him and said he passed their physical. Later they determine the Dolphins were right, the knee needed another surgery to clean out debris.

How much money has he made in his career?

$15,501,680 guaranteed when he signed rookie deal(believe he had to give back 3.5million of that with suspension lingo), $1,690,209 roster bonus, missed out on a few million with his suspensions. Not sure what Seahawks signed him for/contract details of work out bonus and such.

Short answer.. made more then he deserved to.

Thanks. That's some good coin for not doing a damn thing.

“We were fixing what happened before,” Carroll told reporters Tuesday. “He didn’t get hurt here. He came to us needing a clean-up on his knee. He didn’t know that at the time. We uncovered it.

Bullshit.
