Although I am very happy about the win, our poor tackling on defense drove me NUTS!

Watching Lynch dipsy doodle and deek out half out defense was downright embarrassing! These guys have been playing football since they were kids! No excuse for it!

Seems like every week we become an opposing players highlight reel. Enough is enough! Cmon Sparano.. clean it up!

Phew... thanks for letting me vent. decent win.. but not great..

GO PHINS!

this defense is pretty untalented all around. i mean you can see the guys that will be gone by next year already. (Goodman, Roth, Hill, etc.) They're doing alright this year and doing just enough to keep us in some games but these guys will not be starting next year IMO. This defense, like this team, is a work in progress

Our First rounder is going to be a CB or a LB. You can pencil that in. And our 2nd rounder may very well be the other one that we dont take in the 1st.

Yea it is beginning to frustrate me seeing the opposing team's RB constantly breaking tackles. I got sick to my stomach watching that 3rd quarter bills TD drive.

I would go NT, LB, and CB with the first three picks.

in that order? Cause sadly i don't see a NT at all in the first round this year. Otherwise I'd agree with you that NT is the major need. Terrance Cody from Bama maybe, but that's if he comes out, and if he fits.

Ill agree with guys like Goodman who is HORRIBLE and Hill gone, even Crowder is just WAY to inconsistent, is invisible for halfs at a time. And unless he can be re-signed at a avg price, let him go. But Ill strongly disagree with you on Roth being gone. He has transitioned very well this year to OLB. Still very young and can obv learn alot more and get even better. I actually think he is one of the few positives on the D.

this is kind of a myth actually. outside of the San diego game, he's kind of done nothing. OLB is the position that needs to be getting sacks in a 3-4, and he's not getting there.

Hmm let me change that to LB, CB and WR (not in that particular order) as i forgot about haynsworth being an UFA after this season. If we can snatch him then we can target those other positions I mentioned.

The first pick will depend on who is there...I'm sorry, but if Crabtree is there...you can't pass him up....not for a DB or LB where the tops coming out really aren't that good (That's right...Davis and Jenkins are overrated...Maualuga also.)

I had not been able to see Crabtree, except for highlights, until this weekend...I'm on the bandwagon not. This guy is a "Man amongst boys" out there on the field. Crabtree-Ginn-Camarillo with Henne throwing the ball...could be a scary thought for defenses...then throw in Ronnie and Ricky in the mix and we will have a very solid offense....Got to find a real FB though....

Getting a CB or LB will not put the fear of God in a team like having Crabtree will...

I hear you.. Crowder constantly takes himself out of plays by over pursuing and diving with reckless abandon at his target. Is he tackling with his eyes open?

So many DBs on our team just try and make the hit. But not make the tackle. They're bouncing off guys and hardly make em break stride.

We need a shut down corner.. But we also need a LB with vision who knows how to play with "controlled violence" instead of flailing around.

The tackling is poor and it starts in the middle. Channing Crowder is not a middle linebacker in this league, and probably not even a starter. He is a ghost on this defense and has his name called on a good play maybe once per game. Very inconsistent.

I don't think he will be resigned. We might be looking at a linebacker in the first round or in free agency if any available. An old Zach Thomas is doing better than Crowder right now, and he's playing out of position too.
