lol yeah it is rather sad. I was born in the 80s so I really don't have any connection to the 72 Fins. congrats to the 72 Fins though.

good for the Falcons! I figured the Panthers would run the table based on the schedule. It just goes to show you never know in the NFL.

I admit, I didn't think Carolina would lose today or next week. I really thought the Giants were going to be the one to beat them going into that game. Congrats Don Shula, Mercury Morris and company! I hope your feat is never equaled.
Glad the Panthers didn't break the record. Still will be rooting for them in the playoffs. Other than the Panthers and Packers I can't really stand any of the other playoff teams. Hope someone knocks the damn Patriots out, that is one team that does not deserve another Superbowl.

i agree - I like Carolina and GB. I don't mind the Cards either though their uniforms make them hard to watch.
If you want to really get a good feel for that team / that era, I highly recommend the book "Undefeated" by Mike Freeman. Easy read and just full of stories, perspective and so much about the players - you really get a great feel for who they were as players and people.
