Both Joey Porter and Jason Taylor were sighted in Bakersfield CA. doing a photo shoot at the local Famous Dave's. A friend of mine (Cowboy fan) asked JT if he was going to play this year for the Dolphins and he just shrugged his shoulders and gave JP a (you know what's up) look. My friend did say that both JP and JT sounded positive about the way the team is shaping up and to expect some surprises in the draft. That's all folks from Bako, CA.

By "suprises" in the draft...they mean good suprises, right?
I dont want no punter being picked 1st overall!

I hate that word "suprise". Pleeeease lets just get what we need and best player at that position. Hate suprises.

I think the suprise will be... if we draft Chris Long #1... maybe see JT traded the day of the draft.

If it's Jake or Ryan then expect us to keep JT.

We could draft Chris Long, keep JT, and move Joey to the inside. Not that size is everything, but Parcells LBs in his 3-4 are usually around 6-3, 250 lbs which is what Joey is at right now.

ROLB: Taylor
RILB: Crowder
LILB: Porter
LOLB: Long

Not too shabby, huh?

sounds good

Porter's strength is rushing the passer. Cant see him moved to ILB.

Porter and Taylor are not privy to our draft strategy unless Taylor means he expects to get traded in the draft.

He's not too bad at covering though. Plus, guys still blitz from the inside too and not just from the outside. He can be moved around and switch around with JT so he wouldn't only be playing inside and would be moved back out during certain situations. It could work, you never know...

Dont think so. Joey Porter is an OLB. You're wasting your money putting him at ILB, just like we wasted our money playing him a good percentage of the snaps as either a 4-3 DE or a 4-3 OLB (who didnt blitz).
