The article is about Joey complaining that Matt Jones hasn't had to serve a suspension after having a felony cocaine charge in July.

How long do you think it will be before the league fines him for this?

"If I knew the answers, I'd still have 20 more thousand dollars," said Porter, who was fined $20,000 last month for criticizing referee Ed Hochuli after a loss to Houston. "But I'm still trying to figure out how a guy gets caught with cocaine in his car and still plays the game and nothing happens.

"He got caught with cocaine and Matt Jones is still playing football. How does he get away with that? And then you fine people $20,000 for making comments to the media about the refs. The guy got caught with cocaine."

I think we all should give Joey Medal for his having the guts to defy the commish I think all dolphin fans should raise hell and get a lawyer if Joey is suspended. I would love it if four or five players were to stand up to the commish.

I don't understand how he is playing either. Felony drug possession of cocaine is a lot worse than testing positive for water pills.

I thought the commish was good when he first got here and nailed some of the bad apples...but since his good start, he has been pathetic. Keep talking Joey...

Oh definitely true. I don't understand it either.

I just saw it had to laugh, because as GoonBoss said, Joey knows that he is going to be fined for it.

You know what that would accomplish? four or five players being fined and/or suspended. You are free to contribute to Porters legal fund....Of course he's a millionare many times over, and, has a union to represent him, but don't let that stop you. The leauge rules regarding conduct are put into place during the Collective bargaining agreement. If you want to be mad at somone, be mad at Joey for saying somthing he knew would be fineable, or be mad at the NFLPA for allowing Godell to do it.

good for him, that really does show how one rule is good for one person and not for another person.

Celebrations, fines AND suspensions have shown to be discriminatory and unless someone points it out, people with think it never happens.

man Peezy will makea great NFL commish one day. he sees things for what they are and he has agreat view of what the NFL should really b- a game where every guy loves it adn comes to the stadium with as much enthusiam as he does

your right Goonboss I should be mad at the players union but Goodell is a horses butt and if we had four five players that stood up to the commish and he suspended them and if the fins lost two or three games it would give Wayne the opportunity to sue the nfl which is begging to be sued . but I am the last of the true americans a outlaw if you will in a wussy wuss society.

Joey pointed out a good fact, a normal person like me would be in jail if I had Cocaine in my car.

Why are celebrities above the rest of civilization? I though we all had equal rights...darn rich people...

Wayne cannot sue the NFL over disciplinary issues. The owners and the players are bound to the CBA which bestow certain powers on the Commish. Bottom line, end of story. If all those players violated NFL rules and, got suspended, Wayne has no case, because he is bound by the CBA. Now, he could try to get him fired, but, what maniac of a professional would take a position where the last guy was fired for utilizing his discression and doing his job? Take a look at the Raiders, and, you'll know.

If me and a gang of freinds jumped a guy in a parking lot, I would be out of a job, that's for sure.

after reading that article,i can see where Porter's coming from..it's like my bro just said...Ricky Williams gets a 1 year suspension for smoking marijuana, and Matt Jones gets a 3 game suspension for getting caught with cocaine..that's total bs IMO...
