DAVIE, Fla. -- Miami Dolphins linebacker Joey Porter is nursing a hamstring injury, and tackle Vernon Carey has returned to full drills.

Porter was limited in practice Thursday with an injury that Dolphins coach Tony Sparano described as "a little hamstring tweak." Porter has missed just six games in his 11-year NFL career and none since 2006.

Carey took part in all drills after being limited Wednesday because of a sore right knee.

The Dolphins play Sunday at San Diego.

I also saw Ricky Williams take almost the exact same hit that Matt Hasselbeck took that cracked a rib. Getting hit hard in the back while already on the ground. Anybody remember the one I’m thinking of? If Ricky is o.k., he’s one tough sob. (of course he's tougher than a quarterback)
