Security at OPM nightclub at the Forum Shops at Caesars had some anxious moments early Sunday.

About 2:30 a.m., rivals Miami Dolphins linebacker Joey Porter and Cincinnati Bengals offensive lineman Levi Jones entered OPM in separate parties.

Security was immediately beefed up and peace was maintained.

Porter and Jones had a scuffle March 18 at a Palms blackjack table. Porter pleaded no contest recently and paid a $1,000 fine for punching Jones, who was not charged.

Anyone else upset that Prter keeps going to Vegas for late partying/gambling? Nothing wrong with going to Vegas, but things can go very bad in the early hours of the morning.

Like Pacman? I know Porter has more class than Pacman but at 4 or 5 or 6 am, the only thing you can do is get into trouble...But then again a city rat has more class than Pacman

I don't know, if I was in the NFL where the penalty for off field actions just greatly increased and I already am facing a suspension, I think I lay low. I also think I could find a better way to spend my free time then going to a place where accidents and mistakes are very frequent. An NFL career ends in your 30s, so it isn't like he has to do the Vegas night life right now. Play your NFL career, make smart choices and when you retire, then go crazy. Vegas will still be there, you will still be pretty young, and you will still be loaded with money.

Fans forget sometimes that these players, and there talent, are not sole property of the teams we chose. Why get upset? he isn't your child, and there is nothing you can do to have a grown man behave a certin way.

I have been to Vegas many times and have had good times, but a lot of the things you can do at 2 or 3 am, you can also do in the middle of the afternoon. As you have been to Vegas, you know that the atmosphere at night is completely different then in the afternoon. No, I am not saying he should be tucked in at 8 like you seem to think that was the angle I was taking. I just don't think a person with a big mouth(Porter) that can easily anger another human should be going into nightclubs at 2:30am. Let's not forget he is going into a nightclub at the same time as a heated rival, who he has already attacked in Vegas. I don't know, but I am sure when the Dolphins read things like this, they are not as calm as you guys.

True, but Porter has already failed once at that. Porter may have a lot of money, but who is going to pay for the trips if he gets in trouble again and suddenly finds himself out of a job?

i havent been to vegas but i have seen some of these guy's houses. mercy pete!! i would have no reason to leave my house with the money these guys are making. why not bring a lil vegas home, why not enjoy the bar/nightlife atmospere at home. and if i wanted a change of scenery hey go to a teammates and party there. easy for me to say when im broke and don't drink.
