10.5 in 7 games = 1.5 sacks a game, 9 games left, if he continues that pace he'll end up with 24... breaking Strahans 22.5 in 2001.

Just sayin...

While I hate Porter as a person(not a big fan of dog fighters that run thier mouth too much) he is having a great year getting to the qb. It would be great to have a dolphin break that record.

we end the season against the jets.maybe favre will offer up another gift flop like he did for strahan.

I've never cared for Porter the person either, but on the field he is having a hell of a year. If he keeps it up he could be mentioned as a possible NFL Defensive Player of the Year candidate. That's incredible considering that most thought he was washed up before the beginning of the season.

Who would have ever thought this would have been remotely possible in the offseason? Joey rubbed me the wrong way a bit with his yapping and off-field stuff, but he is having one HELL OF A SEASON. JP's performance is just further proof that last year's coaching staff, primarily Dom Capers, were clueless about using players to their strengths.

I honestly dont' care much about off field stuff as long as it doesn't affect the team. Attila the Hun could be playing OLB and I'd root for him as long as he could hold off on the pillageing until after he got out of the leauge. It would be awesome to see JP get the record. I'd settle for 19 though. That'd be good for the team mark that belongs to JT and Stanfill.

Would be amazing. Also Jason's highest sack total is 18.5. Would be something to see him break that as well.

he is having a heck of a year and when you play like that you can talk all you want he is the leader of that defence and he gets everybody else fired up on that defence.i love the passion he plays with he loves the game and when he gets going he gets everybody around him to step it up.

It is still early. He needs to put up bigger numbers against bad defenses, like Denver next week. If he can get two against Cutler, then I will start to believe.

I guess my expectations are low. I am just excited that our quarterback is going to throw for over 3500 yards.

For those of you who say you don't like Porter as a person, how well do you know him? I don't know him either but I do know he donated the locker room at Colorado State University, and he should not be defined solely by his trash talking or a Las Vegas run-in with a Bengals lineman.
