porter packs all his stuff , expects to be gone next year

Mitigating circumstances: every player and coach has to pack their stuff for now, because the AFC team that makes the Super Bowl will be using the Dolphins' locker room and training facilities. The Dolphins players and coaches get locked out for the week of the Super Bowl.

yes im sure they all pack it up, but a lot their stuff probably gets put in boxes and stays at the stadium. sounds like porter took everything with him. it is rotoworld though. if he is gone, i expect a LB will be one of our 1st two picks.
 
i think hes going to be release anyways..why would we keep him and his contract? outside of a few sacks and some coverage sacks he was absolutely terrible this year. JT was much better and is much cheaper. hopefully we can bring JT back in a cheap contract and bring in another OLB..

Did Cam Cameron do one single thing right?????
 
Porter won't be coming back without a hefty paycheck - it's an ego thing - Brass won't be shelling out for him and I would think JT is likley to stay and get another year contract around thesae coin as last year...

JT wore down as always but he plays some run and makes some plays like he did VS. the Jests...

I agree, Porter is all but out the door already. As far as JT I think that he wore down because he was playing the strong side instead of weak side that is more of his natural position. Assuming that Porter is really getting kicked to the curb, I think we would see JT getting moved back over to the weak side. Whether he starts or not is of course unknown but I honestly believe he will be more effective there than Porter was.

you forget how good Porter was for us last year.

Joey's just a mess physically. Bad back, bad knees, bad hammys. He can't be an every down player anymore.

I agree with releasing him, but let's not act like he was a bad player for us. With Cameron he played out of position in a 4-3 defense. Last year he had a career season. This year he struggled.
 
it's sad to hear that if it is true. He was a BIG part of our success last year
 
Joey played through injuries every since camp this year. You don't go from 17+ sacks to this year without a reason. I'm sure our FO will set down with Joey and see where he is physically and mentally before any decision will be made.
