wtf with porter that 15 yr penelty set up the saints perfect he ain't doin anything this yr........ he need to step up and earn his money by making plays

Yea and shut his trap. I couldn't agree more.

Who are you?

Anyway, it was a bs call. The Saints player was holding him and then pushed him. You don't push a guy like Porter around and get away with it. Porter pushed him back. Of course they only call it on Porter.

that was a ticky tac call on porter...

This happens all the time in the NFL. It's why you retalliate with tackles for loss and sacks. Unfortunately, Porter doesn't seem able to do that anymore (3 sacks all year??), so his best chance at hitting someone is after the whistle. It was an enormous penatly at the worst possible time.

Its not like this was one of the last games of the year. 3 sacks at game 6 isn't that bad, especially since he has been injured for a couple games. He did his job today and that guy pushed him first after holding him. What is he supposed to do, let the dude push him like a little beotch? No. This was just a bad call by the ref.

he just pushed the dude back - after being held. come on now.

did the guy push him first, yes he did as I saw it, was it an erroneous call, probably, but the bottom line is Porter hurt the team with the penalty, he needs to stay composed and not retaliate. Ref's will call the retaliation EVERYTIME and porter knows this. Dolphindrew has it on spot, you retaliate with taking it out on your opponent DURING THE PLAY, not after the whistle.

whatever. Porter is one of the baddest dudes in the NFL. You expect him to get pushed around and not retaliate? You think Ray Lewis would've turned his cheek? No effin way.

And Ray Lewis would have cost the team 15 yards.. So you would be happy with this scenario? The offense on the 30 yard line, with 1:00 left in the game, someone throws a purposeful swing on our defense that the refs dont see, our defense responds by pushing the dude which the refs do see, the refs give us a 15 yard penalty, the opponent scores a go ahead TD, with 5 seconds left on the clock and we lose, whereas if we didnt retailate we would have won... Ill garauntee one thing, in that scenario, Ray Lewis WOULD NOT have retaliated.

Besides, what the hell do I care about the Ravens anyway? I care about how Joey's actions hurt the team.

Actually, yes...he should have let the guy push him...a smart player with his wits about him at such a critical point in the game, with so much at stake, would have let the other guy push him in hopes of getting a flag for 15 the other way. But, nope...not Porter.

Ray Lewis would have had 11 tackles, 3 for a loss by that point in the game, so you could half-way defend the guy. Porter is nothing but a negative for Mia right now. I have no motivation in saying that other than what I see game-in and game-out this year.

Sure, that's the smart thing to do. Is is what 99% of roughneck type players like Porter in this league are going to do? No. And I don't blame em one bit. The Saints guy should have been called also and it would've offset. Everyone knows the guy who starts it never gets called, but that doesn't make it right. Glad Porter retaliated.........surprised he didn't swing at em.

Not only that, but he is on the sideline throwing up his hands like a child throwing a temper tantrum when one of his teamates drops a pass. Why do that? Thats not going to help anyone, if anything, it will hurt the team if they see him doing that.

Also, very few players would push or provoke Ray Lewis in any way out of fear and respect. Nobody in this league fears or respects Porter anymore. It's just not an intelligent comparison. He's not a roughneck, he's a has-been.
