I agree the guy might be @$$hole but his nasty attitude can fire up a team. He plays with a ton of intensity and i hope he brings all that to the field and leaves it there. IMO he doesnt have any previous run ins that i kno of and seeing as its a first offense (or i hope it is) Im thinking he gets off with a 2 game suspension AT MOST. I support him 100% and Im wearin his jersey already so heres hopin all goes well with Goodell. Welcome to Miami Joey and the soon to be #1 defense in the league!!

No. It'd have happened by now and they signed Porter, not Saban.

well he had the arrest when he got into a fight with levi jones from the bengals but it was a misdemeanor and he had to pay a fine. i remember he got shot in the butt one offseason but i cant remember arrests or anything else.

I'm not sure what you're saying. In the first part, it sounds like you want Porter to be sent to the NFL Europa, which no longer exists and would be out of the question anyway.

And in the second, it sounds like you're talking about Ginn?

Then I apologize, I had no idea this was a thread about Evans, except the one question which the poster didn't say he was responding in regards to. And I had no idea that Evans arrest had anything to do with celebrating something. :idunno:

Edit: Also, to the original poster, a quick search on google doesn't show any information on any arrests before, but I may have missed something.

I was just confused as to what he was saying, and it sounded as though he was talking about other players and perhaps had accidentally posted a response in the wrong thread as I've seen done before.

1) Porter was cited and fined "for letting" his pit bull and bull mastif get loose and kill a neighbors miniature horse.

2) The Fred Evans case will have no bearing on Joey Porter's case when it comes before Goodell. Evans low salary might have also played a part in his release because he doesn't count much against the salary cap.

i was talking about Evan. There was a comparisn between the two and just wrote about the situation of Evan, and forggot about the subject:unsure:

About Poter, that is his firts misconduct, and the result was not a big deal. On the civil action , i beleived that he is getting sue by the Bengal guy. GO DOLPHINS!!:ninja:
