I'm not one to make up all these possible trades, and imaginary trades or off seasons, knowing how amusingly sarcastic some of you posters are. but I think our only chance to really moving Porter might be to swing a trade for T.Scheffler. Hes a RFA so we cant just sign him, so might as well throw Porter in the mix and say a 5th? I know this would mean we would have to pay Porter's bonus but if they plan on getting any value for him, might as well get something they want. Just a thought.
 
Denver doesnt need porter they have dumerevil and porter would be doing the same thing there as he is here i say just cut him
 
I believe Arizona might be the only shot of trading Porter. He wants to go out West. They can use an outside LB and I think they use the 3-4 defense. Bottom line I think Porter will just be cut.
 
Porter will be cut. No reason for a team to trade for an overpaid loud mouth aging LBer.
 
If Jeff Ireland gets a bag of footballs for Porter he should be awarded NFL executive of the year, or be arrested for stealing because no team is going to trade for Porter.

Does he have some value? maybe beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but in all likely hood Porter will be cut, unless Parcells/Ireland pull an Al Davis and just keep Porter around to punish him which I would fine truly awsome let him just rot on the inactive list every week.

In an uncapped year no reason to worry about salary cap numbers.
 
i find the trade very possible.
cause i could see nolan bringing elvis 2 miami next year he is a free agent.. isnt he?

My mistake It was San Francisco I that I was thinking that Porter might fit.
 
Doubt it, it will be very tough to get anything of value for Porter

I agree...and I wouldn't put it past these guys to work out another "family" type deal with Pioli....

I'd trade this bum for a 5th round pick just to insult the hell out of him.....we need one anyway...
