Watching the NFL Network earlier, the ticker said that Joey Porter visted with Randy Mueller this past weekend.

Sorry if this was already posted.
 
If you read the Sirus Radio Thread, it says that they believe the only way that he doesn't sign is if someone (Cinci) makes him an outragious offer.
 
Given that Cincy's had franchised Justin Smith and locked up Robert Geathers for 6 more years and Big Willie Anderson for 5, what are the odds they can offer Porter a lucrative deal?
 
Not just about the money with him I think.... team, coaching staff, organization, etc. counts..... not just money and nothing else...although it plays a big part. When does free agency signing End????

In a move that illustrates the seriousness of the team's interest in linebacker Joey Porter, coach Cam Cameron and general manager Randy Mueller flew to Porter's hometown of Bakersfield, Calif., where they courted the former Steelers star.
''[Porter] came away from the meeting very impressed with the direction they are taking the team,'' agent Jeff Sperbeck, Porter's agent, said Monday. ``Joey would be a great addition to the Dolphins.''

Adam Schefter, of the <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/77/nfl">NFL Network, reports the Miami Dolphins are one of the leaders to land free agent LB Joey Porter (Steelers). The Dolphins met with Porter and are hopeful they will be able to sign him.


Just good to read, and to know that Randy and Cam want the best for the Dolphins!!!!!

Get that deal done Cam and Randy, Bring us Porter!
 
Porter would be great in our defense. Hopefully the lack of offensive additions in FA means they will be addressed in the Draft.
