The last game of the season could be interesting in one other regard. Wasn't it Favre who gave Michael Strahan a gimme half-arsed roll-out attempt for Strahan's final sack to break the record?

Something tells me Joey could be in the running at that final game against the Jests, and my guess is Favre won't be so accomodating to Joey.

Of course that final game could be very interesting in its' own right as it could be for the division title or a wild card spot that may align the two teams to face each other the following week all over.

I don't know about you but I'd love for us to beat them for the divisional title and then send them home for good in the playoffs.

And if Joey gets the record against Favre that last seasonal game. that would be the kicker!

P.S. Sorry if this has already been noted elsewhere...... and please do not ask me to focus on this game at hand and not look so far ahead..... last I checked I wasn't on the roster.
 
Yeah, I'm with you.... I don't so much fault Strahan though because he had to work for all the sacks I'm sure. But, like you, I believe Favre did himself and football in general a real disservice to give it up the way he did.
 
Favre isnt giving us anything. This is a division game. It has much more meaning than the Giants at Green Bay game did. Favre isnt just going to give up a sack to a division rival... Hopefully Porter gets his sack for real and takes Favre's head off in the process...
 
Favre probably doesn't have a whole lot of respect for Joey's trash-talk so I can't see him giving up anything, EVEN if the game ended up meaning nothing.

I used to like Favre until he became an annoying little drama queen every off-season. Dude, just move on like everyone else does. Then he became a Jet, and now I'm hoping Joey takes his head off.
 
It's going to be hard for Joey to sack Brett, you know with all the media sucking his c+ck. They will probally get in the way.

Its not happening. He won't do that twice and as duly noted it is a division game with potential division champ and playoff positioning on the line.
 
So you listened to Rome today too. Joey was pretty funny talking back and forth with him about "chest bumping" Coach Sparano, and giving out his government on the air.
 
So you guys know... I was not suggesting Favre would give it up like that. I know the circumstances would be entirely different. I'm more seeking insight as to whether you guys think that Porter's sack race and Favre's past gimme sack to break the record and the irony of it being another game with Favre in it for a player to potentially break the record will be hyped by the media as well. I know Favre would not give it up like he did to Strahan....... but that should make Porter's record that much sweeter and 100% genuine.... as opposed to the current record.

My bet is that it will be part of the games' hype.
 
I don't think Farve will actually fall down and do the job like he did for Strahan.

I hope Porter sacks him about 3 times though. That'd be awesome.

I personally did not see Rome..... but perhaps you were not addressing me. Did he bring up the sack race and Favre in the final in particular?
 
It really dosnt matter because Porter will own that record before that game.
