Positive article from Armando Salguero

I am not sure he is ready for what Mando is saying.

Haha.

"Philbin is wrong"

Ok Armando. You clearly know he's wrong since you were always in the Packers locker room. If Mason Crosby hit a field goal
In the game, he helped contribute.

He's up against a very good Defense today (and the Jets are playing at home). Mando will be the first to chargrill Tannehill if doesn't light it up.

I like RT, but it is going to be a process for him to get to a top half QB in the league. He has similar, better and worse stats compared to his peers...just depends what you look at.

He faces a great dline today. I loved Sheldon Richardson last year. He would have been my pick in the draft if Miami stayed put. Mo Wilkerson is a Pro Bowler.

Until last week, Tannehill’s play was almost robotic. He went through his progressions in logical fashion and, by his own admission, threw to Wallace only when the coverage and defense dictated. Tannehill did exactly what his coaches told him. No more. No less. The man who considered becoming an orthopedic surgeon as a career outside football was trying to be too precise as with a scalpel.

lol...I just mentioned the orthopedic surgeon career the other day. I think Mando is dead on. He's been robotic, nothing special. But in the last game he did some different things, moved around a little more, got rid of the ball right before he was hit (several times) which was shocking to me. He changed up his cadence and caught the D off guard a time or two. It was a little different. So here's hoping to a good remainder of the season. The thing is though, last year he played better toward the end also, so this could be the same thing.

You want to play for field goals?

The Jets pass D is pretty bad, and there best corner has a gimpy hip.

The running game isn't gonna be good but the pass d should,.

I say the running game does much better than people think today. Just a gut feeling.

Those gut feelings usually come back to bite us in the ass. Here, I'll throw mine in as well:
I have a gut feeling that today will be the day we finally blow a team out and score more than 30 points in the process.

My gut feelings have been accurate both for and against the Fins this year.

30+ points must be from very deep within your gut. How many times have we see that in the Philbin era?

Just find a way to win. I do not care about point totals.

Sounds like he is setting Tannehill up to fail. Not sure why he would do that. Writing an article that basically says the QB should put it all on his own shoulders and defy the coach and the game plan and force it ... doesn't really sound like praise.
