I am one who likes to focus on the positive. While I am not happy about the loss, I know this is not the end of the season and am happy about some things I saw....
1. No shutout. Our offense knows they can score...
2. C. Pennington 21/29 or a 72.4% completion rate. Say what you want, but the dude make few mistakes.
3. Atlanta rushed 68 yards on 27 attempts or 2.5 yds per attempt. Pretty impressive even with a loss.
4. Y. Bell 8 tk and 1 pd. G. Wilson 7 tk 2 assts. and P Merling was awesome.
5. R. Williams 5.6 ypc.
6. We started last year 0-1 and finished 11-5. We can do the same this year.
7. A loss is a loss, but a loss against the NFC is better in a tiebreaker situation.
Call me Pollyanna if you want, but I refuse to declare this a catastrophe.
