i mean, this guy is unbelievable. does anyone remember the last time he made an UNspectaclar catch? seriously? he leaps like moss, dots the i's(out of bounds line) like jerry, works hard, AND he's a team guy...we all saw how good he was last year, but he has surpassed all my expectations from even then(even though his #'s are down). i think we're in for a hell of a ride with this guy...its not my style to put a guy in the HOF after 1 1/2 seasons, but he has to tools to be the best reciever in football

ps- marino, in his prime, would put up 40 points per game with this offense and probably shatter the rams' single season scoring record

:monkey: having no command of your offense(even though his play improved)

he is still raw. Which means you can expect great things from him, but he is not consistently great now. He needs to be a better route runner if we are gonna keep throwing those timing passes to him. He has all to tools to make any catch. When Jay is back to 100%, I expect Norv to let him loose on deep routes again.

He will never be what any of the other great wide recievers are if they dont throw him the deep ball, with Ray he wont get much if anything. Ray doesnt throw the ball to the players he throws it to the ****ing ground

i agree completely...just look at the wisconsin offense he played for...ron dayne followed by michael bennett, how'd this guy ever get drafted as high as the 2nd round?

ps- i doubt we'll ever see lucas in a miami uni after the season...so we shouldnt have to worry about his "ground"seeking missles again

I agree Fiedler for MVP, chambers is awesome. I went to the game and I never seen in my life anyone ever make that many totally incredible catches in one game. I was a little worried about him after the way he got hit in the bronco game that he would never be the same but I see now he's even better. The way he was catching those incredibly inacurate "ground seeking missles" was awesome. And I agree with you dolphan39 about his route running hopefully C.Carter can help him out in that area, if and when he comes back. I hope Carter tough's it out this year and comes back if he is healthy. We need him now that OG is out.

Simply,

does not matter. CC will be just another reciever in this league becuz we dont have the QB to get him the ball. We are not a downfield passing team. CC is not being used properly. No reverses. No wr Screens. No deep Fly patterns. He is another wasted talent. He should have the ball in his hands 10-15 times a game. I have to admit that CHAN did a much better job of getting CC the ball. How sad is that. Also, we need another reciever on the other side. I look at CC and it is frustrating becuz i know how much talent he has and yet the phins make him just another player. WASTE. If the Dolphins had Moulds or T. OWENS, what kind of number s ould they put up in this offense. They would be similar to CC. SAD

Jay seemed to get him the ball a lot last year when he didn't even start. We haven't really had the need to go long when we are winning. Ray Lucas hasn't thrown a ball over 40 yards more than tweice in three games I think. As long as RAY is our QB CC84 won't see anything.

I think Chambers is LIKE Moss only without the attitute and baggage. I love those AWSOME catches last night! And that WAS a TD Catch! He's my favorite WR! Imagin this...

Dorsey to Chambers... TD!!!! , ect OR
Grossman to Chambers TD and on
But that WILL NOT happen... Too bad.

we shouldnt even HAVE to argue whether it was a TD, even an NFL ref on the take from the jets organization can see that...how about that out of bounds late hit no call?

Fiedler for MVP: What "NFL ref on the take from the jets organiztion can see that" are you talking about? Some supervisor said that it was the right call. The ball moved a little when he hit the ground. I think the refs got all 3 challenges right.

Dorsey won't make it in the NFL. He has 5th round talent. He reminds me of Josh Heupel, who we drafted in the 6th.

Personally I think Chris Chambers has been a dissapointment this year. While not all his fault as you need a qb who can get you the football. don't get me wrong he does make some unbelievable catches but im basing my dissapointment off of last years numbers. I was expecting big things from C Chambers this year and his numbers are down right ugly. C Chambers will never be the player we all expect till the qb and another wr is added to this team.
