- Let’s get the formalities out of the way, we won, Texans lost, Bills lost (Thanks D-Hop).
- Nik Needhams corner blitz sack was nice but his 1 on 1 PBU against Keenan Allen may have been his best rep I’ve seen.
- Jason Strowbridge had an awesome TFL Run stuff, Raekwon Davis held his own too.
- Jakeem grant 4 for 41 a Td and some really excellent punt returns to set us up on short fields.
- Oline allowed 0 sacks AND opened up run lanes, maybe the most complete game from our Oline all season. Tua also helped by shrugging off a near sack and almost hitting Jakeem on what would have been an insane play.
- Salvon Ahmed was awesome the broadcast team was obsessed with Kalen Ballage for some odd reason but our PS pickup out played Ballage and probably had the best game any dolphin RB has had all season (Gaskin Jets game is close).
- Xs and Os, Xavien Int Ogbah sack. Becoming very common occurrences. the timing of both of those was huge when Chargers were gaining momentum.
- Andrew Van Ginkel had a nice pressure and QB hit on a 3rd down to force a punt, he also had the blocked punt. He’s a player.
- This is the best special teams team I’ve ever seen for Miami. Sanders is obviously good. But Matt Haack has been great too and guys like Mack Hollins sprinting down field to down the ball. We started kicking kick offs short because our kick coverage team is so good, we get tackles deep in their territory.

They were really more impressed with his size and speed which is not the norm for a RB. Don’t think they knew the deep history we had with him. But I gotta say his failures here definitely had something to do with our terrible OL and probably his lack of confidence trying to run through it

What annoyed me most is he was averaging like 3 YPC today. It’s not like he was running all over us. And he caught a few check downs. Which i mean catching a few check downs is big for him usually he just hands those off to the other team

Coach Flo has us playing good complimentary football.

Today's game was far from perfect! That in my mind is a very positive positive... We have quite a lot of room to grow this season and this coaching staff is showing that they have the capacity to create that growth!

Bring on Denver!

One more positive I wanna add. There was a bad snap where Tua scooped the ball up of the ground and fired a dart to Parker. It was unreal composure for a rookie QB. Rough day for Karras

It starts with the Offensive Line. They were outstanding with the exception of the fumbled snaps.

The defensive game plan, moving away from the zero cover made all the difference in containing San Diego's WR's. Howard and Jones were in lockdown mode for almost the entire game. Nice rebound by those two.

Can't say enough about Seiler, the kid plays his heart out. Nice job by him today.

Ahmed, played much better then anyone else could have expected. Nice find by the F/O.

Chan Gailey getting the TE's involved. All 3 made plays today. Love the TE group.

AVG adds more muscle this offseason (as he did last) and watch out!
That kid is a monster brewing!''

I noted Strowbridge elsewhere. Like who the hell is drafting these kids?
What was great is you could tell by his reaction on that play these dudes are ALL team.
>>> like components in finely tuned machine.

Shocking! Yet another TEAM win!

And gotta call out our ST coach -- Danny Crossman. That man is doing an excellent job!

Complimentary football. They’re a disciplined cohesive unit.

O: Tua, although not putting up monster numbers (our WR talent is not there right now), did a great job managing the game. There some beauties, missed a few too. Most important no INT.

RB: Ahmed looked quick out there, may not be as well rounded as Gaskin, but earning his play.

OL: opened up lanes for the RB and didn’t allow a sack.

WR: Decante doing his thing. Grant game up big. Perry even had a nice play or two. Not sure why Hollins got the call on the goal line slant, he seems to be a body catcher. Great flier on ST though. Would have liked to see a Calloway or Bowden sighting.

TE: solid, albeit unspectacular, group. Gisecki dropped one or two, but overall solid complementary outing.

DL: ogbah contines to impress getting to the QB. He’s got a little CAM-lite bend to him. Sieler was awesome, what a motor on that guy! Raekwon looks like he’s getting more comfortable and disrupting the backfield. Awesome TFL by Stowbridge.

LB: gotta love Van Ginkel. The rest played their part.

CB: X and Jones were awseome. S play solid as well. One miscommunication that almost resulted in TD, but overall they did a fine job on Herbert and their Allen and Williams.

ST: phenomenal. They are playing as good as I’ve ever seen a Fins ST unit play. That speaks volumes of how these kids are being coached and the pride they take in every facet of the game.

They might need to tighten things up against a more formidable opponent, especially on O, but keep up the great work.
