Here is a scenario for you guys to mull over...

The Dolphins trade Jason Taylor and a 6th round pick to either the Cowboys or Jaguars for their first round pick.

I read this in this morning's newspaper about a possible trade....stay tuned!!!

That wouldnt be too bad, but I don't really want to see JT go. He's the face of our defense and dominant.

I agree with SpaceMountain16. They won't do it for that. They will want higher than a 6th. But if they want more they have to give me something next year, also. I would truly love to come out of this draft with great players and at least one extra high pick for 2009. Having draft flexibility has allowed the Fins to consider things they wouldn't have been able to do if they weren't moving JT and had an extra 2nd rounder.

Let JT retire a Fin, but if not we need to get everything we can for him.

Nothing yet!!!!! Everytime I flip ESPN News I brace myself for breaking news of JT being traded. Keep my fingers crossed. STAY IN MIAMI JT!!! WE NEED YOU!!!!!
I say this because I believe we will be competitive this year AND the next.

We will probably have to wait until during the draft, and most likely (if it involves a first round pick) while the team involved is on the clock.

That team will want to know who is on the board for that pick before they trade it.

I don't know if this was posted (busy board today; difficult to read everything):

It's an article encouraging the Jags to trade for JT.

My favorite part:

"If the Jaguars don't get a quarterback-sacker they highly covet this weekend, or coach Jack Del Rio becomes worried about the pass rush in August, maybe giving the Dolphins a 2009 first-round choice (figuring it's a late pick) for Taylor becomes a bit tempting."

Any possible way we can se a Taylor +pick to the Bengals for Chad Johnson? ANyone find that being possible?
