The most intriguing one I've heard so far is Cleveland. They have picks (two 1st rounders and two second rounders) and money to burn. They also have some pretty good skill players (Josh Gordon - ERFA, Duke Johnson).

Look at the contracts on their roster.

What about a Jarvis to the Browns trade in exchange for one of those second round picks, let's say #35, Josh Gordon and Charley Hughlett (Center on a cheap contract).

Gordon would be a throw in, given his tenuous status (one more strike and he's gone) but would offer incredible potential to fill the Jarvis play making void for a year, and Hughlett would be an insurance policy that has a good contract for years to come.

With the extra 2nd rounder, we can take one of the top five QBs if available in round one and still have the resources to get a stud guard (Will Hernandez) and MLB (Rashaun Evans) in round two. Plus you'll free up that 16 million to spend in FA.

I would be ok with that scenario.

Yeah, but with Gordon, he's one toke over the line from being booted for good. Do you really want to risk that? Great talent, but lots of distractions on South Beach and all.

Cleveland makes a ton of sense. They could use more weapons for their expected new QB, they have a ton of cap room, and a ton of picks to trade

I hear ya. But he looked scary good when he came back last year. I would look at him as a one year fill in to start and give him an extension at the end of the year - completely contingent on his remaining in good standing with the league. If he's suspended, the contract is null and void.

He is going no where. Like Stills, it is all about guaranteed money. A long term deal will be done. Plus the divas Parker and Stills cant be depended on

San Fran or Oakland would be my guess.

The 49ers have loads of cash, a great QB and great offensive coaches. Their GM is the kind of guy who loves Landry's skill set.

Gruden... obviously. :)

Reading one of the Bears boards.. they are pissed and depressed by the franchise tags. It's as if they expected Landry to be on the roster next season. The Jets fans also thought they might sign him; if for nothing else, keeping him away from divisional rivals, it was a (uncharacteristically) good move IMO.

Had he gone to the Jets, it may have been one of those types of things where he'd have had his "best games ever" against us twice per year.
