Possible Landry Trade Destinations

The obvious possible destination for Jarvis is Cleveland. They have $110M in cap space and 5 Draft picks in the first 2 rounds. Spending $16M on a WR should be a big deal for any team (it is overspending) but the Browns can afford a ridiculous long term deal without blinking. The possible scenario that I float is Jarvis plus the Dolphins 1st round pick (#11) for Cleveland's #4 pick (1st round). This is the sort of potential deal that gives Tannenbaum a boner.
There was absolutely no reason for Miami to rush to the franchise tag. The timing seems to indicate an urgency to lock something up fast. That's why I think that the tag and trade is still a real possibility.
Cleveland are also in strong contention to acquire Kirk Cousins, because they can outspend every other team. The big negative for the Browns is that they are a very bad team but their chances of locking up Cousins would improve if they had traded for and secured a legit top receiver like Jarvis Landry.
If the Dolphins moved up to the #4 pick, all sorts of really good players would be available (maybe even a top QB prospect like Rosen).

glad you asked.
Saints had 13 yards
Tenn had 13 yards
Oak 28 yards
Pats MNF 18 yards
Buff 8 yards and 34 yards.

we talk about paying Landry, is this what $30M guaranteed gets you? Let's all make excuses about the qb now........

aside from a 180 and a 98 yard game , he averaged 41 yards a game

I will make it about the quarterback...Who was throwing the ball to him??? Can you tell me how Stills gets the ball in his hand without the quarterback handing it to him, or passing it to him. So you can blame the player all you want but without someone getting the ball to him your argument has no merits!!

Looks about right for the role he plays and the amount he's paid. Were you expecting #1 type stats? Is that the role you think he plays in an offense? :laugh

And why "diva?" By all accounts, he's a leader on the field, in the locker room, and in the community. Not sure why you're directing your animosity towards him.

Don't take the bait. He plants those kinds of comments in damn near every thread in order to attempt to derail it into a Tannehill discussion.

Definitely not a diva but he's not going to be a dependable number one receiver for us

No ****, because he's not a number one. He was clearly never meant to be a number one and he wasn't paid like one.

Stills isn’t a diva but he’s still soft and doesn’t like doing the dirty work at the lb level. And he’s still not a consistent chains mover. Carried a plus grade but that’s got a lot of role ask to it.

He’s probably the only guy we’d sell high on off 2017 but that still won’t net you more than a 3rd rounder

Juice walks this team gets even more finesse indentity wise on o

Add a mike Gesicki he will make it a pillow fight on the contested balls stuff.

Soft at the catch point

Jets, 49ers,Bears,Browns,Cards,Bills,Vikings those are teams that seem like they could use Landry most IMO.

NFL radio talked about Landry for KC's Marcus Peters
