Possible Long Term QB

I've been watching in him play in NFL Europe on NFL Network and he's been very impressive. I agree that it could be possible, but I wouldn't depend on that and trade for him because most likely that'll be what we'll have to do because I don't see Houston releasing him... I'd like to have him on the team, he'd definitely be better than Sage or Berlin and he'd even compete for the starting job. I doubt he'd win it though. But how do you expect us to get him? Is there any talks of him being released or is his contract ending soon or what?

If Linehan really wants his old protege back then we could get him as an RFA

In the article I noticed this:
Ragone needs to extend his streak by 25 passes to tie Ron Powlus' five-year-old league record. Ragone will get his chance June 11 in the World Bowl, where his Berlin Thunder will play for the league championship.

All I have to say is Ron Powlus? You can see how far Ron went with that record. Does that mean Ragone is yet to be as good as Powlus?

hmmm...

With their first round pick in the 2006 NFL draft the Miami Dolphins draft QB
Omar Jacobs out of Bowling Green. :) COMMENTS???

I don't care what anyone says, We have a strong trio of QB's. I think coach Saban has made that perfectly clear. If not why hasn't he tried to lure a hotshot QB here? with a little help from the rest of the offense our QB's will succeed. AJ is the second coming of Brett Favre. And if you don't believe it........FA COUGH......

I like what I have read about this kid, and I cant wait to watch him closely this year.

That must be the guy from Louisville. That's the only Ragone I remember. Haven't seen him in NFL Europe. At Louisville he looked good but nowhere near as accurate or athletic as Stephan LeFors, the guy everyone here thrilled to rip before the draft.

Damn, Ron Powlus is a name I havent heard in awhile, brings back memories of him at Notre Dame

By the time he's availabe he will be nearly the same age as Feeley was when we acquired him before last season. I would argue that Feeley had a better track record in the NFL (as a backup in Philly) than Ragone has had in his time with the Texans.
If Ragone is a RFA would we not owe the Texans draft pick compensation?
