Just curious who are some coaching candidates to take over as dolphins DC? It's sounding more and more likely that Vance Joseph will get a head coaching opportunity. Just wanted to hear who some possible replacements would be for us?

Joe Whitt....Packers DB coach...great coach, overdue to be a coordinator. Known for coaching up his players.

The Packers lead the league in interceptions since he became DB coach in 2009....he's ready.

I blows my mind how many damn threads we have had about IF Vance Joseph leaves. I mean this team is in the damned playoffs and there seem to be more threads bout how this guy MIGHT leave than playoff threads. The way people are acting its like he has already signed with another team. This is a thread I would have expected from the past few years. I think we should all wait for the actual offseason to start before we all worry about having to replace a defensive coordinator.

Jeff Fisher.....I keed I keed (Just Joking folks)

I think chemistry is everything, I wouldn't mind keeping it in-house and just promoting someone who is already on staff. They can continue on with our playbook.

Lou Anarumo - Defensive Backs
Matt Burke - Linebackers
Terrell Williams - Defensive Line

Lou Anarumo was already DC under Campbell last year and he was awful.

Vance is not going to be a head coach next season.

If he goes (he wont) Gase will probably go for Fangio who was probably his no1 choice originally

I don't think Joseph will leave this year, maybe next year.
He'll be interviewed as a Rooney Rule requirement and get some exposure, but just don't see it this year.

While people joke about it, Jeff Fisher may very well be a D-coordinator at some point in the future.

He was very good at that for the Eagles, Rams and the Titans, and I don't know that he has the makeup of a talking head kinda guy. While I don't think he ever gets another HC job in the pros (rightfully so), football is in his blood.

That being said, Gus Bradley would be my first choice. Fangio is the D coordinator for the bears.
