I was caught up in the all the baseball hype for most of the football offseason, and I wasn't suspecting Marty Booker to leave.(Neither Chambers, but that was during last season) Just wondering if someone can give me some info on why he left? Was he asking to much money?Besides Chambers, he was my favorite WR on this team. :boohoo:

IMO the team didnt feel it neccesary to pay him a large salary for the lack of production they were getting from him. Also the team is going young and he didnt fit that profile.

He couldn't get separation. Slow possession receiver.

how much seperation do you need when the ball is on the money?

He seems to be doing just fine with the Chargers, stupid decision by the Dolphins

We need a "Chambers like" reciever on this team asap, right now we have no one of his caliber.

Fasano and Martin are the targets not Ginn, Hagan or Carmillio, even Wilford the 6 million dollar man isn't a threat that Chambers is.

I think he was talking about Marty.

We got Henne for him...if Henne pans out, that was a wonderful trade, that's the bottom line.

Booker really didn't have any say in the matter. He was due to make $4.3 million this year and that is probably why he was cut. Low production and high salary.

For what it's worth: Booker only caught one pass in the seven plays he was in on during the Bears first game of the season.

how many times did chambers get thrown the ball last weeks game? i remember him having like 1 reception for a 44 yard touchdown
