As you all know, the NFL has adopted a "flexiable schedule." Saying that, what games do you think we have during weeks 10-15 and week 17 game will become a Sunday night primetime game?

My guesses are:

Week 11 vs Minnesota when Daunte plays his old team
Week 14 vs New England could be for the division at that point
Week 17 @ Indianapolis possible AFC championship preview in the final week

I think we will get at least 2 games over that stretch and likely 2 of those. What do you guys think?

I dont see the Week 17 @ Indianapolis being that big of a deal because either one of our teams or both will have already won what we need to and will not be playing our starters so im actually glad this game is the finally.

Go Phins! :dolphins: :dolphins:

you are right

ALSO: Sunday, Nov. 12th against the Kansas City Chiefs is also marked with a: # sign. Indicating that game can also potentially be moved to 8:15pm.
AS well as Sunday December 3rd against Jacksonville.

How do you know? Maybe NEW ENGLAND is right in the hunt also!

I think we should probably hope the Vikings game doesn't get promoted to SNF because Miami has the early Thanksgiving game the next week.

The Minnesota game will have all the hype to be a strong Sunday Night game canidate.

True, but there are a bunch of games that week that might be more attractive nationally, including Indy at Dallas.

I do think the NE game has a good shot, though.

One thing we need to keep in mind- It's not just the attractiveness of the game, but the attractiveness of the game coupled with a team's national following or size of market, especially in November.

I highly doubt the Phins have home field wrapped up prior to week 17. We are a good team guys, but not tops in the NFL.

Remember that it's not just whether it's a great game -- it's whether it's a great game that CBS has not protected. That's the problem with Mia-NE -- CBS could choose that as the game it protects that week.

I looked over the entire 8 week finish of the NFL season. There are interesting matchups across the board:

DEC 3

Cowboys @ Giants
Jags @ Dolphins
Bucs @ Steelers
Seahawks @ Broncos

DEC 10

Falcons @ Bucs
Colts @ Jags
Patriots @ Dolphins
Giants @ Panthers
Eagles @ Redskins
Broncos @ Chargers

DEC 17

Eagles @ Giants
Steelers @ Panthers
Bucs @ Bears
Chiefs @ Chargers

DEC 24

Panthers @ Falcons

I know what you mean man, maybe i made my post unclear but i mean ONE of our teams (either us or the colts) will probably have nothing to play for and the starters will only play 1st quarter. i wasnt saying home field is all wrapped up or anything for us.

Oh okay I understand you. Here is my take. The Dolphins and the Colts will be in the playoffs next year, we all know that. This game could be for the 2 seed possibly and that first round bye. I truly think it could come down to that and I think it should be a terrific game.

I doubt the NFL will move the Vikings game to Sunday night being that the Phins play the following Thursday.
