This is where we are really soft imo.

  1. B. Miller
  2. L. Smith
  3. B. Troupe
  4. J. Wiggins
Thats it.
Thats all I can see that could have a impact on our team.

Do you see anyone else?
 
We will draft a TE this year, finally. We dont need any FA TE. While the TE's we had this year were nowhere near spectacular, they will stick around and battle it out with the rookie TE we draft this year for the starting spot. Its about ****ing time we draft a TE.

We will sign Anthony Becht, a solid blocking Te.

David Martin and Justin Peele almost got Beck and Lemon killed this year.

I can see us drafting a Te later in the draft, but early we just have too many holes on the Dline and Oline to spend a #2 on a Te.

For me, I like Kellen Davis and John Carlson later in the draft.

IMO Peele can stay, he is a good catcher and much more productive than Martin and is a much better pass catcher as well. Martin the scrub can take a hike. I wonder about Fasano or Utecht
 
I didn't even know about all that stuff with Jeremy. I just thought he was a pud from the Superbowl a couple years ago. I was already through with him, and now he is even further down on that list.

I've known Peele since he was in SD and he was always a great person. I wouln't mind seeing him stay.
 
I like Fred Davis, TE, USC...with the 32nd pick. :up:

Nope, hes got major issues
 
Martin should be cut, Peele is at best a backup. So either draft one ala Fred Davis or I hear Shockey has worn out his welcome in NY and would gladly except him. But the ones you mentioned as free agents are trash.

A platoon of Becht and Peele would be a good way to start, a good blocker and good receiver, Te's are such a luxury for us though, I can see spending a pick in 2009 on one, or taking one late this year, but those #2-#4 picks really have to fill some basic needs for us.

If it is a choice between paying Becht 1.7 million or Utectht 4 million, I'd gow with Becht.

And i've got to say Jermaine Wiggins is pretty good receiver as Te, for as big as he is, he doesn't really block very well.
