yo what up fellas first i want to say im sorry if u guys came looking in here thinking that i had possible "inside" information it has happened to me beofre and it sucks but anyways i was wondering if u guys think the dolphins could pull the trigger on a trade to maybe land us some help with the o line or in the secondary. i think maybe one of our recievers is expendable or maybe a young d line or maybe a draft pick. i really think we need help on the right side of the line as that is where teams are really exposing us. and one more thing i know you guys are frustrated with chilipepper but give him some time he is the right guy look on the bright side at least we dont have to deal with jay feidler anymore.
 
we could, but i dont know what we would trade to get it, i would rather hold onto our draft picks to get the help in the draft this year

you need to put fantasy or madden in the title because that is what it is.

It doesnt matter who our qb is. This fan base will always look for the negatives and cry for a new qb if he doesnt set passing records his first game.

I think it would be great to get help for the o-line but I think they will eventually improve. I hope the Fins keep most of their picks this year.

yeah thats south florida's problem...amongst getting rid of the marlins...but thats an argument for another day
 
Any help we bring in for the offensive line almost a month into the season had better be a quick learner and an excellent blocker. I doubt this is going to happen, though--we just signed Whitticker.

Actually, not to be argumentative... but I loved Fiedler. Never wanted to see him benched or cut in favor of Feeley. And, on the same hand, I've also wanted CPepp to start later in the year.

I never thought starting him back this early was a good thing.

I also felt Frerotte shouldn't have been let go.

I look at the player and the situation. I'm not just negative for negative's sake.

Frerotte gave us a winning edge until CPepp was completely ready. Now, we are dealing with too many variables in flux. OLine, Mularkey, CPepp, Joey.... too many unstable variables. This is going to be a long season.
 
Expendable?

Which reciever is expendable?
There is no way we get rid of chris because chris is our speedy superstar deep threat.
Marty could be expendable, but not right now since Derek is still a rookie and needs to learn the ropes in the league, plus marty has done a good job this year so far.
Wes is our most reliable, most versatile player, not to mention a fan favorite with a heart of gold.
Derek is too young to get rid of before we see what he delevops into.
Cliff couldn't be used as trade bait because he ain't worth anything.

once the season starts you ride what you got. Its too late to make some fabulous trade. And who in the heII is going to part with a decent lineman. This is a fantasy thread.

Guys like Steve Young & Brett Favre were traded at the trade deadline so anything can happen.

We want to bench him because he's doing the same things Feeley and Fiedler were both doing. Throwing costly interceptions.
