Possible WR's To Bring In After Camp Cuts?

and i would feel a whole lot better about that if clyde (wreck of the edmund fitzgerald) gates will be catching a few bombs periodically.

Forgive for hijacking the thread...After watching Dallas the other night, I would be interested to see which DB's they cut. All of their guys looked very good.

As far as our WR's, I agree to keep the young guys and let them develop with RT.

I don't see us getting or affording a high profile guy. But we might be able to trade for a high potential guy or a solid no. 2 type. For example, the Steelers just lost their lead blocking fullback/tight end to an ACL, right when they're switching to a more run-heavy scheme. They have Emmanuel Sanders who is a little injury-plagued but seemingly back in shape and living up to his potential in preseason. He's not a top WR, but would be our no2 slot guy straight away and could be worked into other plays. He's going into the final year of his deal I think.

Id hate to lose Clay, but maybe or Mastrud plus a 5th rounder would do the deal?

There are probably other (and better) examples out there, but that would be my preferred type of deal. I can't see us landing Bowe or Wallace types, for many reasons.

Plax is the best available WR, we can get him for the minimum 1-year deal and maybe he can teach wallace how to be a WR. Plax is still an end-zone threat and would help Tannehill a lot.

Interesting about Dallas DBs. The Browns DBs looked pretty good last night as well.

Hopefully Ireland and his scouts are keeping a close lookout for the next version of Victor Cruz, ready to swoop in and poach him off the PS of a receiver-rich team.

I see a lot of complaining in this thread about the receivers we have and I see a lot of philosophical stuff which boils down to "we need a wide receiver and should try and get a good one"...but I don't see many on topic suggestions about receivers that might be cut that we should claim.

And if you're going to say Plaxico Burress, no offense, but this thread isn't for you...

Jordan Shipley was waived today by the Bengals, has had bad luck with injuries since being drafted, he did show some promise though

Reports about Rainey signing with the Pats, wonder who will be getting the boot.

Wow, that's a surprising waiver.

If Miami didn't already have an abundance of slot players I might bite.

You mean Demps. And he's a running back.

Woops my fault!

Yes Demps, but my thinking is he is put at WR/KR/PR position.

No?

i think something might slip out of cinci's wr core...other than shipley...i thought they had some solid depth yesterday

Cincinnati's got some talent there.

WR A.J. Green
WR Mohamed Sanu
WR Marvin Jones
WR Ryan Whalen
WR Brandon Tate
WR Armon Binns
WR Vidal Hazelton
WR Kashif Moore

Any of the guys underline could find themselves cut. Ryan Whalen in particular could be interesting. I liked Armon Binns a lot coming out.

i liked binns out of cinci also...i'd like to see him get released but watching yesterday seems to me he's in the 2 deep pretty securely...hazelton didn't show me much...marvin jones looked like something to work with...
