So... the slaughter victim tonight was NOT the team I expected it to be. :D

- Love those throwback uniforms. Love 'em.

- Mike Pouncey: The man who turns 1st and 10 into 1st and 20.

- Julius Thomas, sprinting for a first down, drops the football like it's covered in lard. You know what looks like it really IS covered in lard? Julius Thomas.

- Competition has made Jordan Phillips a better football player. Unfortunately, a dirty block in the 4th quarter made him a guy with a worse knee.

- What can I say about the pass interference call against Xavien Howard in the 2nd quarter? Do I need to say anything? The replay spoke for itself. Howard played a hell of a football game tonight, and didn't deserve that blemish.

- Kenyan Drake is pretty dang good when he doesn't fumble the football.

- What was with the team's atrocious use of timeouts in the second half? I'm sure glad we didn't need them at the end of the game.

- Off-topic: I'd love to take a flamethrower to Derek Jeter's office. With Derek Jeter inside of it.

- Jesse Davis, if there is even an ounce of collective brains on this staff, you're officially penciled in as a 2018 starter on the Miami Dolphins offensive line. We need to do a better job of picking up stunts, though.

- Nice prevent defense, Matt Burke. And by nice, I mean not nice at all.

- I was honestly pretty surprised that we came out and whipped the Patriots. I figured we were prime for a letdown after delivering a beatdown to the Broncos, but here we are. Great win.

And on a personal note, I finally lost a bet with Chambers and I must now wear the Hobo Patricia avatar. Time to go find one and crop it. I guess I'm not too broken up about it, though.

This was a beat down! Only reason the Chwaters looked like they were coming back is because of the ****ing Refs. I am so surprised! Gase really has turned it around.

I still think TannenBUM needs to go. Thomas and DVP need to go also. Pay Landry! Drake, who the **** was that other RB we traded! Drake is a beast!

Offensive stars were Drake, Cutler and a respectable performance by the O line
Defensively, obviously Xavien was awesome, the D line was disruptive and dominant, safeties were solid. Not a single conversion on 3rd down and completely shut down the running game, awesome job.
Dead weight, Fat Boy Thomas, and step too slow Alonso.

Would love if this loss costs the Pats home field and another trip to the Super Bowl.

It was frustrating to see that prevent/zone crap defense late in the 4th. We are unbelievably successful with man/press coverage and of course we go away from it. I HATE that.

Thanks JDW.....good thoughts....including the one about Jeter.

No way get rid of DVP. Yes he has struggled but most of the board wanted X out 2 weeks ago. He will get it together

I can count at least 4 times where I shook my head and said "really, ref?" out loud. The one that still has me confused is the moving of the ball 15 yds after the punt with no explanation from the ref. Even with the maybe bailouts by the refs, this team overcame. Great win!

Fantastic win and we should enjoy it like Xmas (plus get satisfaction that the Brady/Belicheat ball lickers were beside themselves at loss) but....sorry to piss in anyone's cornflakes...Gase is still an idiot coach.....WHY OH WHY were we throwing on 3rd down up 10 pts w/incomplete passes stopping the clock when we could have bled time off or made them use up time outs. That was totally idiotic and it never should have come down to the onside kick or even left them barely time to score.

I'm going to throw this out there, as satisfying a win as it is...
And I don't mean to take anything away from our guys - they played their butts off and the coaching staff actually prepared a good game. Not sure where this team has been pretty much all season.

But the hoodie is always ten steps ahead. In the bigger picture, this loss will do better for preparing his team for a fight against the Steelers and the playoffs AND will also lift Miami in the draft.

Great win tonight, but never ever underestimate how calculating Belicheat is.

Really wish Grant hauled in the dagger. But I will NEVER complain about anything after beating the Pats. As far as I’m concerned X is the best CB in the league. Drake is a top 5 back. And we are most likely heading to the Super Bowl!
