Been waiting for this all night! Looking forward to the podcast tomorrow.

You should do a double-length post-game episode every week (maybe after the all-22 drops)!

Also... "chock full".

I guess it depends on how you view the opponent. Personally, given injuries, I think that’s the second worse team we will play all year. That being said, I can’t agree with much of what you’ve stated. I’m happy with the win but it should have been total domination.

Thanks for the write-up OP. I agree with some of it and disagreed with portions of it.

Overall, I think it was a little too Dolphins positive.

The win was nice but we're going to have to clean up across the board if we want a playoff berth.

This isn’t college football. It’s the NFL, and a win is a win, and the only thing that matters is 1-0. Our QB played his first game in 600 days, we overcame 2 delays, and rain. The penalties from the o-line, 3rd down inefficiency, and zero qb pressure, we’re all alarming. Ryan and Kenny picking up where they left off in 2016, ball hawking defense, and solid running game, was exciting.

The main thing I took from this game is this team resembled the 2016 team who found a way to win, and not the lack luster smoking Jay team of 2017. We got big plays from all facets, so you gotta love it.

It's week 1 and there were two long delays.
Going to be some sloppy football. Luckily, the Dolphins made more plays than the Titans.
It's hard to get an accurate look at a teams outlook off the first week.
Good thing for us was that T-Hill took some hits and looked fine.
Could tell he had some rust on some of his passes, but at some nice touch on others.

Good write up.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Reminiscent of 2016 and far from 2017.

Good write up, thanks. As much as i love RedZone its Not always easy to follow everything that's going on in Dolphins games here in the UK so that did the job!
(Also, fair play to everyone who stayed for the entire game yesterday)

Thanks for the heads up. These late night columns make me somewhat delirious lol. Not to mention how long yesterday seemed to be.

I thought we burned a timeout on that wildcat play? There seemed to be confusion in lining up. It was a little confusing on the broadcast as to who called the timeout.

Nice write up. I agree with Omar for a change. The Titans along with other teams cut block the Fins edge rushers a lot but that stuff never gets called. I wonder why?

A slight issue I have with the article .. you mention that Tannehill lead the Dolphins to 27 points ... but then you take away the points that the D gave up to Special Teams ... shouldn't you be making the same adjustment to Tannehill?
