In case the image is bad:

Pre draft
  • 1 of Juju/Golladay/Samuel
Draft
  • --Trade Down from #3 to #23, #36, #107, NYJ 2022 Rd1 (Top 10 most likely)--
  • #18 Micah Parsons - LB
  • #23 Travis Etienne - RB
  • --Trade Down from #34, #205 to #61, #93, BUF 2022 Rd 2 (Late most likely)--
  • #36 Nick Bolton - LB
  • #50 Creed Humphrey - OC
  • #61 Terrace Marshall - WR
  • #81 Rashad Weaver - Edge
  • #93 Talanoa Hufanga - S
  • #107 Kenneth Gainwell - RB
  • #123 Ben Cleveland - OG
  1. I did not draft one of the big 4 receiving targets (Chase, Pitts, Waddle, Smith). Signing a top 4 WR rather than drafting a top 4 allows us to maximize the pick value with a trade down.
  2. These gained picks directly address the run game and feed our defense with another extremely talented LB
  3. We also roll into next year with an additional early 1st and late 2nd.
  4. This is a team building draft that still produces 3-4 starters and great depth.
  5. Our defense wins games and we need to properly maintain it

Probably my favourite one yet. Gives Flo a few more chess pieces on defense, and gives Tua some help in the ground and air attacks. 8375D852-CC57-4FF2-A46E-62BBB2B97D1C.jpeg

Couple of days into FA and the Brown pick up means we can push back the RB pick in my mind, would be psyched if this cam to pass:

I like the way this one turned out. A couple of good trade offers early and then some players unexpectedly fell.

Love all the effort, and it sure is fun.

But just to say, we all do the same thing: Mocks, and discard the ones that go awry, keep the ones that we feel we did well with.
But its really soooooo much harder for Greir/Flores. They have ONE shot, and cannot take too many chances. There is no do-over.

That in itself is the reason why (sometimes) GMs take a guy they love higher than initially projected. Easy for us to criticize from the bleachers, but unfairly so
