Post'em here Aj's 2005 numbers projection

Sixty-one posts and not one person has mentioned the most vital passing stat, yards per pass attempt. Yet we have tons of projections regarding the TD/INT ratio and overall QB rating. That just demonstrates what a pathetic job ESPN and the mainstream media have done in relating the most relevant stats. Wait, let me guess, the ever-sophisticated fantasy football leagues don't give or subtract points for yards per pass attempt. That must explain it.

I'll peg Feeley at 6.1 YPPA, a major improvement from 2004 but still garbage.

:roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: Actually its a good point-- i would be happy if he has a 2 to 1 Td/INt ratio to be quite honest

QB rating- 76
yards- 2768
TDs- 15
Int- 12
Int return for a TD- 4
Att/com- 520/313
rushing yds- 24

57% completions, 2500 yards, 15 TD, 16 INT, 8-8 record as a starter.

Good God, if he has a 2/1 TD/INT ratio, I'll be dancing in the streets. If he has a 2/1 TD/INT ratio, we're probably going deep into the playoffs.

If you people serously think that Gus will start at the begining of the season for any part of the season for that matter you are mistaken im sorry it aint going to happen. If Feeley can post 11 TDs and 15 Ints wit last years line and absolutly no running back im sure he can do way better this year. Wit Ronnie behind him and a good o-line (hopefully) im thinking along the lines of:
21Tds 9Ints 3000yds 7.0 ypa (10 of those tds go to chambers who gets over 1000yds)

2004 (11 games, 8 starts)

Passing Completions: 191
Passing Attempts: 356
Completion %: 53.7%
Passing Yards: 1,893 yards
Touchdowns: 11 TD's
Interceptions: 15 INT's
QB Rating: 61.7

Here's my predictions:

2005

Passing Completions: 206
Passing Attempts: 379
Completion %: 54.3%
Passing Yards: 2,484 yards
Touchdowns: 15 TD's
Interceptions: 18 INT's
QB Rating: 68 (did the math.. it's accurate)

First of all, I'm just trying to be realistic. I'm not going far out saying 20+ TD's and single digit INT's. Now keep in mind if AJ kept up the pace of last year and started all 16 games, he would have had A LOT of passing attempts. But I'm assuming with a well established running game with Ronnie Brown, Lamar Gordon, Kay Jay Harris, even maybe Ricky Williams... etc. etc. I don't expect his passing attemps to be "ABNORMALLY" high.

You can bash me if you want, but if look closely... my preidctions have AJ improving in every category which is also realistic because based on last season, there will definitely be imrprovement. This is all hypothetical of course.

I can see where you're coming from but if he still has more INT's than TD's next year it's time ti can the AJ Feeley project. I don't think the dread Jay Fiedler even ever threw more INT's than TD's, except for last year, and everybody knows he completely sucks.

:roflmao: that's a relevant stat talking about feeley

now,seriously, I guess 59% 3200 yards 20 TDs 14 INTs 81 QB Rating is around what I'm expecting

i give feeley bout 17 TDS, 12 INTS and 2700 yds, and we go 8-8

and please stop saying gus will start, wont happen, for same reason feeley didnt start when he first came to miami

yes gus was under our new OC

but gus has not been around our oline and our WRS, it takes time to get your timing down with those players, game time, our OLine and WRs will need to learn linehans system too, maybe we bring in all the past WRS cut by minny too so they can start? since that all that seems to matter for all u lovers of gus

This arguement has no merit IMO. If Gus wins the job, it's because he's the best option for the Phins. From Aj's play last year it seems he does not have much timing down with the offensive line and wr also. I want the QB who gives the Phins the best chance at winning. I really don't believe the "lovers of gus," helps your arguement, for the most part people on here are Dolfans, so they would much rather see the QB who gives the Phins the best chance to win, and are not "Aj huggers/Gus huggers," or "Aj haters," just Dolfans.
