To get a clue. I'm not saying that Chad Henne is turning into Dan the man. But I can't believe a lot of you are
blaming him for our red zone issues and the last drive of that Browns game. If Marshall doesn't drop three sure handed TD's in the end zone we are not talking about a red zone deficient offense. And as far as the the last
drive, I flew up to Cleveland to watch the game, there ZERO open receivers on that drive and Henne was gettingmurdered the whole game and had no time to throw especially on that last drive.

Do some of you even watch these games????? The comments here are so laughable

All I hear are excuses.....it's always someone else's fault....OLINE, receivers, play calling, coaching..etc....they all suck IMO.

No excuse, I was there, it is what it is. No protection when it mattered and not a single receiver open when it mattered. Yeah, all Henne's fault. I see what I see, and he got zero help on that drive. And he gets zero help in the end zone from Marshall

He can't get us a couple of yards. There's a huge disconnect between him and Marshall in the red zone. There's a problem. He's not the main problem, but he is definitely a problem, and deserves some of the blame.

You flew up, I drove up.

I didn't see much out of Henne that impressed me. :idk:

Yes, blame the whole team, don't have an issue with that. But to single out the QB on a drive where
there was a defender on in two seconds every time he drops back is ridiculous. Like I said, I wouldn't
comment unless I was there because you can't see the whole field on tv.

Regardless of what you saw, the point I am trying to make is that everytime someone defends Henne, it's always someone else's fault. Maybe in this case your right, however, I am sick of th excuses every damn time we lose a game. A game ended by an interception in the 4th Quarter. Bottom line, Henne had a chance to prove himself WHEN IT MATTERED....he didn't, so blame whomever you wish....I just tired of the excuses, regardless of the situation.

The problem with Henne is he does not make anyone around him better. Lacks the "it" factor.

He has not been the reason they have lost, but he needs to start to be the reason why they WIN.

Really????? Because I saw a QB who looked incredibly sharp when he had more than two seconds to
throw. I'm impressed when he a little time and when he's blitzed. People have to start hating for the
sake of hating. I personally feel Henne can be a very good QB on a different team with some sort of
protection

Henne has had worse pressure to deal with imho, and he's often hung in there and taken a huge lick but gotten the ball out. Frankly, Bess was open, and good quarterbacks make a timely throw and get that first down. He simply can't handle the pressure. It's a bad combination, clueless 4th quarter playcalling, and the least clutch qb in the league. And to discount my opinion because I didn't shell out hundreds of dollars to go see a mediocre team play in Ohio is ridiculous - I've been watching football for many years, and he needs to do better.

I disagree, not to keep sticking up for Henne, but one of his strengths this year is his guts to handle pressure. He handles it well, but you still physically need time for the ball to get out wether he handles the pressure or not. I actually think he handles pressure around him better than most QB's including Brady. Brady just never gets pressure, but when it rarely happens he turns to Puddy if no one is open or has no time to get it out.

I agree he had no protection. You are flat out wrong concerning no open wide receivers, because there were routes open. I honestly think the pressure led to Henne's errant throws, but there were guys open. I don't think Henne should get all the blame but you cannot absolve him completely.

His fault, everybody else's fault, Ray Finkle's fault...none of it matters anymore. Henne is gone next year. It doesn't even really matter how good he plays. A new coach with a new system coming in when Henne will be due a new contract and us likely being in competition for Luck? The writing is on the wall in big, bright neon lights. Good luck to him out there. He'll make a good backup/journeyman starter for many years.

Henne needed to drive the team 15 yds to give them a chance to win with a FG. He's like Rex Grossman from last night. Give him the chance to drive for the win but fail miserably.
