Here's a clue. This is Henne's last year as a starter for the Miami Dolphins.

This one seems to be the thread that blames Henne for our team going nowhere. Make up your minds people because it's the same people that blame different people depending on the title of the thread.

There's plenty of blame to go around when you have the season we're about to have.
 
I still say the biggest thing we here are ignoring is 0 TD's from outside the red zone this year. We are still the same lumbering, plodding offense that Henning rolled out there last year. Nobody scares the defense, Gates is too raw and Bush is hardly utilized out of the backfield. We do not have that guy who's going to break a tackle and out run the defense. For our offense to score points the QB is gonna have to be perfect. Outside of maybe 3 por 4 guys, that's almost impossible. I'm not a Henne supporter, I would have replaced him after week 4 last year, but he doesn't get much help. Who out of all these guys we don't blame is gonna break a tackle and outrun everyone, Bess (LOL), Hartline (maybe) and don't say Marshall because he hasn't done it yet. Having speed on your roster doesn't help if it's not being used on the field. This is the same offense from last season with a worse O-LINE, why would we expect to be better or better yet for Henne to be successful?

I posted in another thread that there were some big name QB's who have worse Red Zone numbers than Henne. It's not talked about though because they have had other players break a tackle and go the distance, or just outrun everyone. We have not had that happen yet.

Gosh it is maddening on here!!! From the Matty "ice" nut huggers, to the "experts" who try and TELL us that Henne doesn't have the "it" factor. I will tell you what Henne doesn't have...he doesn't have an oline....he doesn't have a legit tight end...he doesn't have a wr to stretch the field (although I am hoping Gates comes along)....he doesn't have a "top 3"(not my ranking of him, just what has been bandied about on here) wr who can catch on a regular basis(Marshall).....he doesn't have a defense that can protect a lead....he doesn't have a coach who will actually go for the kill when the other team is down and bleeding. Those aren't excuses, they are FACTS!!! Is Chad perfect? Hell no. But all you on here that want to trade 2yrs. worth of top picks to get a qb are just fooling yourselves. And some here want to say "well we have history on our side to back us up", oh yeah? How bout the Marino years? Isn't that enough flippin history? It proves, without a doubt, no if,ands, or butts that a superstar qb does not = a SB. Do I draft Luck if he is available, hell yes! Do I throw 2yrs worth of draft picks away, hell no!!!! It is a TEAM game and if the whole team doesn't run like a well oiled machine, it will not get you where you want to go. Starting from the TOP (head coach) down to the players and trainers, you need teamwork. You need a stong defense, strong special teams, and a strong offense. You think this defense can get you to a SB? Special teams? Please, there are soooo many more things wrong with this team other than qb it is vomit inducing. Blocked punts, missed FG's, 500 yrds passing against, in game decisions, time management,offensive blocking that is really offensive,...the list can go on and on and when you do get to the bottom third of things to fix(upgrade), then you would find Henne.
