1) Hartline is simply not good enough to be a starting #2 receiver in this league

2) We seem to get outcoached nearly every week.

3) While Henne is playing better, he still has to score touchdowns in the redzone to be a winner in this league.

4) We should have kept Ronnie Brown and used that 2nd rounder on something else.

5) Shocked that is was Dolphins having cramping problems in the south Florida heat and not our opponent, this would not have happened to a Don Shula team.

I agree with number 2 for sure. Sparano is clearly a peoples coach but not a top 10 coach when it comes to creating game plans. That is what we need

#4 - we should have never traded up for a player when we could have had a RB in the 3rd round do at least as much as Daniel Thomas did tonight and still have a 5th round pick to address the O-line.

#5 - absolutely awful and inexcusable. It's a good thing it wasn't a 1 o'clock game.

1) Agree with the conditioning and cramping. I just do not get it.

2) We also better hope Will Allen is still available because Nolan Carroll really SUCKS!

3) Please try Reggie over the top or Larry Johnson on the 1/2 yard line. A different game if we score there.

6) Bad offensive play calling in the Red Zone. Henne has missed the fade throw I believe three times before the 4th and goal and Miami went with the fade route again. We got stuffed in the RZ before but when it is only half a yard you need to just smash it in.

Yea our defense had nothing to do with this lose just red zone offense.

When Vontae went out, Brady took advantage and tore the defense apart, specifically Nolan Carroll. The Welker 99 yd TD falls on Nolan. He had a gassed defense and put Sapp on an island and you saw what happened. He should have left the defense in it's base to try and catch their breath. Conditioning falls on Sparano. Absolutely embarrassing that the Dolphins fall from the heat, a long time home advantage.

Henne played great between the 20s but still had some red zone struggles. On the fade to Hartline he had Bess 1 step inside the end zone. The poor run blocking of the OL is the problem with not smashing it in there.

I am stunned at the manner this played out. The offense played well and the defense looked horrible. Not what I expected at all.

That Hartline drop was terrible. He clearly knows how to get open though and you can't deny that. He is a outstanding #4 but average #2. Hopefully Gates can develop into a #2.

Never understood the idea of using Hartline as the "go-to" guy in the redzone on fades. He is white. White men can't jump. Marshall, while obvious to other teams, is the guy in the red zone. Bush should be also going into the flat on red zone pass plays. This is why we brought him here. Weapon in the red zone for sure. It was disgusting how easily Brady was able to just augment a play or go to a hot read and score at will. I am talking pathetically easy. It was embarrassing.

I will take the vast improvement by Henne he has seen thus far. I mean the guy rushed for 59 yards when the plays broke down. Chad Henne of old would have forced a ball for a pick or got sacked.

While the Dolphins were outmatched tonight, the fan attendance still remains an issue. At least 30% of the fans were Patriots fans. Then again, that is supposedly Ok. lol

Bush has a nose for the endzone....he'll jump over someone or out run them to the corner...either way he should be used more down there.

All I know was in the very beginning, one of the analyst said something like if "Brady's jersey stay's white, good for the Patriots....if it starts having green on it, good for the Fins." That proved to be oh so very true. I could not beleive how long he had. Yes I know he has quite a bit of quick 3 step drops, but c'mon man!!!!!!! He was hardly ever hit or even really hurried. A couple times he had 8 seconds.....my son and I both were speechless. This was supposed to be our strength, and on offense, their weakness.

I have been a Henne hopeful, he has improved....he isn't the immobile robot a lot of "experts" say that he is. He had people make plays for him tonight...every "great" qb does and every "expert" says " what a great throw, he put that right where only his guy could have a chance to catch it"...in the past, our guys would not make the play.... tonight they did. He played well.

Just weird play calling inside the red zone in my opinion. Fade route on the 1/2 yrd. line??? Eh, whatever, hindsight is always 20/20. I like that they seem to have went away with the " I don't care if we average 3.4 yrds per carry, we are gonna keeeeeep doin it" mentality.

Tonight, one could make a case that we need help in the secondary, and one could make a case that we would be ok in the secondary if we could get some pressure on the qb...I think both could be right in different ways...we did face a well oiled machine tonight, and it is real difficult to slow down if they are clicking like they were tonight. I personally am more worried about the lack of pressure on the qb...any quality starting NFL qb will complete a very high percentage given time in the pocket....that where I would concentrate this week in practice.

The Pats were one of the worst teams to start out with. The continuity of the Pats system was a huge advantage.
Henne was really sharp today. He made strides. Everything doesnt happen all at once. There is a chance that something will be salvagable with him.

We complain all we want about the secondary issues, but it was the inability to get pressure on Brady that blew everything else up. He had all day.The game was lost right there.
