Last year, lots of posters here wanted Terrance Knighton. Well, he's a free agent again and Miami has money to spend.

I like Jordan Phillips, but he has a ways to go as a run stopper. Knighton, if it's a good contract, seems like a perfect complement and a great player to put next to Ndamukong Suh.

Free agency isn't over yet so just wondering what's left at corner as well. Any ideas there?

I feel bad for Adam Gase because he's going to have to make chicken salad out of chicken crap. Our roster is really lacking.

Last two years, the front office has taken on roughly 30 million in dead cap space just from cutting the "chicken crap" from what was Jeff Ireland's 2013 offseason. People want to know why it has been so difficult of a decision to retain certain guys . . . It is not the Suh and Tannehill deals . . . .its that dead cap that "had" to be taken to rid this roster of that "chicken crap".

Now the current roster is certainly thin, with a bunch of unproven guys, but its set up for Adam Gase to bring in "his guys".

He is in a good spot IMO, there are no expectations this year . . . .his #1 goal is to get the best out of Ryan Tannehill and this offense, which from outside one guard spot and another RB, is pretty set.

Legit thought you are offering some tasty pot roast.

Slightly disappointed by this thread.

Shame on you good sir.

If Tannenbaum's pet project Phillips, who came into the league with a bad back and rep for a lazy work ethic, doesn't work out then he should let the pros handle the draft. What does he know about drafting football players? I'm ok with free agency so far, but Gase, Grier and Joseph should be the draft voices that count. Let the football people run the draft and evaluate college talent.

The only other acquisitions we can make now are of the non-qualifying kind - otherwise we can kiss those 3rd and 5th round compensatory draft choices goodbye
