Potential is the key word for this team. In past years we have had solid performers on both sides of the ball, but with lack of emotion from the team as a whole and the main problem being quarterback, we haven't been able to get full potential from this team. Green has the potential of being the best quarterback we have had since marino. Who knows how we will do, all i know is this team has the potential to be solid at worst.

Agreed!!!

The one thing I really love about this team:

Everyone seems to be becoming friends quickly. Whenever we hear guys talking about eachother it is always positive. IMO in football it is important to not only play for yourself, but for that guy next to you. It really pushes you to the next level and it's great when the other guys help push you.

This year no one is expecting much from our Phins. But..... I get this warm fuzzy feeling that things are on the right track and everyone is buying into the system that we are going to be running on both sides of the ball. We are better on defense. We are better in the kick/punt return. We are better at QB. The O-line is the big question mark but, I get the feeling, why I don't know, that this will be fine. (Lets just hope we don't start the season with a false start on the very first play). Yes, every team has potential. I think this year we will be playing with enthusiasm, heart, and even a little bit of a mean streak and it will be the difference.

A championship in the making:

I'll just take the wait and see approach.

If Culpepper had been able to play last year, or Joey had been a better QB maybe that article would have been accurate.

If Green is able to stay somewhat injury free (Little injuries here and there are no big deal), everything that excited Phin fans are saying may also be very accurate, maybe even more then that.

Chmabers looks stoned in his picture...I would be interested to see what they think of 2007 with such optimism in 2006

LOL. Chambers does look like he is in rought shape.

Too bad Green will probably be this year's version of Harrington. Future of the franchise is in Beck's hands IMO.

If anything TG is an upgrade over harrington. Experience, knows how to read defenses better, is more accurate with the deep ball (Something Harrington was HORRIBLE at last year). Just hope our OL can protect him because Harrington could most likely scramble much better than TG

I just hope we come out of training camp relatively injury free and with a stable OL. IMHO - that will be the only way to really gauge the talent level of this team.

The biggest difference I have seen so far between this pre-season and last is in the players perceptions. Last year we heard next to nothing due to Saban's dictatorship approach to coaching. This year I hear a lot of players saying they like what Cam is doing and the TEAM chemistry seems to be a LOT more evident.
I have a very good feeling we will be seeing a very different Dolphin team this year.
