Talking to a buddy yeasterday I came to the realization that the potential exists that we could do a Wolverines draft (not that I'm for or against, just found it interesting)

It could turn out:
1. J. Long
2a. Henne
2b. Manningham / Crable
3. Crable / Manningham

I guess the one good thing about Long / Henne / Manningham would be they already have good chemistry together

If the draft would work out for us this way, the potential is there for a Clevelandesque turnaround, and the following year we fix the Defense...

Again, thought that would be an interesting first three rounds....

CK also thinks we'll look heavily into Jamar Adams.

This is a very good, and experienced, class for Michigan players.

Could be, I'm a fan of all these guys. The next post mentioned S Jamar Adams- yeah on that, too.

When your National Scout has a Son working at the school...I'd say you'd have an advantage...but I doubt that all players are on the radar of the Dolphins.

We also could pick up Mike Hart in the 6th or 7th...

MajPain better not read this thread. :sidelol:

that same thought has crossed my mind as well.

i am a fan of all those players. I would love it if we got them all.
Im just still thining about cb. I would like to see us trade for lito from philly. this guy plays though (even with the knee problems he had last year)

i would like to see us pick him up some how.
i would like us to get heart...only if we loose one of our 3 backs

Honestly I would be disappointed if we got any of them. I like Jake Long and Manningham alot but I think there are better players available at those spots. Henne has the worst pocket presence of any of the top 4 QBs and I just think he would get killed. Crable doesnt really stand out to me in any way other than he has the body for a 3-4. I think there are better prospects out there like Jeremy Thompson at that spot

Nah, I would actually think that a Boston College draft would be more realistic:

#1: Matt Ryan
#32:Gosder Cherilus

I have absolutely no problem drafting OT J. Long with our first selection, he's going to be a special player in my opinion. As for selecting Henne, I don't support that idea at all. He's one of my least favorite QB's entering the draft this year....

IN TUNALAND WE TRUST!!!!!
