That's an excellent suggestion. He does have local ties. He's brilliant as ****. Insane amounts of money. I just have no idea if he has any interest in sports.I think Jeff Bezos of Amazon.com went to high school in Miami? I think he's richer than every NFL owner. This cat could build us a billion dollar stadium that would make Cowboy Stadium look like a dump, and it wouldn't put a dent in his wallet.
Arison is of course an amazing owner, but I'd question his financial ability to own this team. I haven't been impressed with Ross' decision making and it's just blind hope that makes me optimistic for his next hires. I'm not sure we're capable of actual success until we get rid of this Jests fan who considered us a second choice.

Seriously, I completely agree. The area around Joe Robbie stadium is garbage. The team should be located near West Palm beach or along Biscayne bay. Another site in north broward that has enough available land is the Pompano air park and surrounding golf course. It is also close to the ocean.

If not, lets go the Packers route and hire someone like Marino who would garner respect and all chip in as fans to own a share of the team. Heck, I would be down for being an owner. Bezos has a history of being extremely tight with Amazon.com's money. He puts more back into research and development than pretty much any else in the high tech industry. Many commentators believe his goal is to get Amazon total control of the world's internet transaction economy -- he wants a cut of every sale ever made. I don't think he'd be the kind of guy who would want to own a team. He wants to be the richest man in the world and is still committed to making that happen.
Ross would have to sell the team at far less than market value or no one will buy it. Every year the dolphins lose revenues and no smart businessman is going to enter into that market without Ross selling the team at a considerable discount.

I think the Arisons get way too much love. I think they have done a good getting Riley and willing to spend but he is less interested in putting any money into a stadium than Ross. Basketball is a different animal.
If we get a new owner I hope he gets Shula involved
Ross is rich enough but this just isn't his wheelhouse so he makes mistakes. Cuban is dynamic. He'd be great!

Dan could be part of a team that could purchase (like Magic did with the Dodgers deal) but he's not in the league to pay well over $1 Billion and buy it on his own.
