Mike Pouncey survived.
And he helped get the Dolphins into the end zone.
So consider the mission accomplished in Pouncey’s first game action since November.
Pouncey’s long-awaited return from a chronic hip injury finally arrived Thursday, but if you blinked, you might have missed it.

I thought the run blocking was decent, pass blocking was not as good. The problem the Dolphins have had is that the entire O-line has barely played together this offseason. Not just Pouncey sitting out but James has missed time, Tunsil has missed time and we keep losing the LG.

Yesterday was the first extensive action for the starting O-line...and it's not even set if that was the actual starting O-line since they're still trying to figure out who the LG is.

I think the problem with the Oline is there not very good, and not necessarily that they haven't played together.

They're better than when Dallas Thomas and Billy Turner were starting but that's not saying much. I used to be concerned about the interior of the O-line but Tunsil and James didn't look very good yesterday either.

I basically got crucified for saying Tunsil was still an unknown at LT coming into the year.

The Tunsil sack was bad but Gase said he put Laremy in a bad position with the silent count which they hadn't really worked on. Who knows!

Our run game will be very good if not great with Ajayi. He's that great IMO. I think our Tackles will be fine. Laremy had a bad game. Plain and simple. I think it's way too early to worry. Be surprised and annoyed? Yes
I don't think the strip sack was fully Tunsil's fault. I didn't think he heard the snap that well. Who knows what went wrong? All we know is that is unacceptable and he has to be better. This is your one bad game big man. We expect much more from the 13th pick.

I thought neither OT's looked very good last night. Not just the sack but other plays too. Imo our team will go as far as the o-line take us and they need to play a lot better. I'm not going to sugar coated it.

Ozzy rules!!

Speaking of going in dry, Pouncey got his ass handed to him a few times last night.

Tunsil is a non-worry. He'll be excellent once he settles. He knows LT well, we just ****ed with him by sliding him inside last season and essentially delayed his rookie season against the NFL's premier pass rushers.

Watching 74 get beat on the inside shoulder during outside zone runs to the same side, yep seen that movie multiple times last year.

Guess we get the double feature this year?

You are wrong..the problem is the latter....not the former.

Tunsil, Pouncey and James are first round picks who have shown in the past how good they can be when they have playing time together.

Not a sharp observation on your part in a limited window of the first game action of Pouncey and Tunsil this year.

But typical of the no patience, instant gratification, short attention fan of today.
