Why don't you give us a break. The NFL issued the conditions and it is up to them to notify Pouncey, the Miami Dolphins and the NFLPA when and where the evaluation/exam is to take place. The NFL would/should never leave it up to an individual player to schedule an evaluation with a doctor of his choosing because of the potential uncertainties involved. If Goodell is going to leave the decision on whether or not Pouncey is suspended/disciplined up to the medical professionals, you damn well bet the NFL will want Pouncey to be evaluated/examined by a physician of their choosing.

Like Philbin said, they are not sure when Pouncey's medical evaluation will take place.
 
He shouldn't have to take mental health exams until the mama's boy pansy in San Fran, who is the reason for this mess has to.

If nut jobs like Aldon " I yell bomb in airports" Smith don't have to, then why should Pouncey? Why doesn't Ray Rice have to after he beat his GF? Mike Vick who committed sociopathic killing of dogs didn't even have to.
 
Pouncey received a $5M signing bonus in 2011 and is now guaranteed $7.5M for 2015, with over $10M in the bank he will say whatever he wants. He is set for life.

Are you really that naive to think for one minute the NFL and NLFPA do not have agreed list of mental health professionals? Do you really think Philbin is going to provide the name of the facility or individual providing the evaluation\treatment? It really isn't as hard as you people make it out to be!

Pouncey is an idiot but I don't think that particular comment is anything to get up in arms about.
 
The whole Pouncey (and to larger extent, Martin) fiasco can be summed up in two lines:

1. On one side: Sissies and social engineers who want to remake the world in their passive-aggressive image.
2. On the other side: Real men and warriors and don't mind adversity and who believe that people have the right to speak their mind.

Pretty much it.

I read an article similar to this one the other day and I could've sworn it had more insight from Pouncey on the topic at hand. He said he didn't regret last year but he wanted to move on and prepare for 2014. Something about last year is last year.

Strange that I can't find that part of the article anymore.

He didn't do anything that thousands of players (high school, college and pros) haven't done before him and I'm sure the locker room jokes about how stupid "bullygate" was and still is. Of course he'll say "no regrets", and I don't blame him. Now, looking forward...
 
What Pouncey should do is hold a press conference and say he's gay and coming out of the closet, maybe even kiss a man and smash cake in each others face afterwards. By doing this everyone would be forced to only say good things about him out of fear of being labeled homophobic.
 
Armando made a good point(yes, I am serious). Why doesn't Ray Rice have to take a mental exam? Why doesn't Aldon Smith? Yet Pouncey does, hmmm. The NFL is a messed up league.
