Was just browsing through espn and saw some tweets about Pouncey not playing the rest of the preseason with the hip issue again. Hadn't heard this yet.

Really just saying he won't play this Thursday, I'm sure he wasn't going to play game four regardless. Seeing that he went back into the game after he got injured I doubt if it's that big of a deal. If this were a regular game I figure Pouncey would be playing. Only four days till the next game so might as well let him rest after a shot practice week.

Of course this bright side doesn't look so bright when you remember how much we're paying him for his "probowl level" play.

Pouncey really seems to be missing games every year. Maybe he'll be ready for the opener but I wouldn't be surprised if he misses time again this year. Our team just can't seem to be able to stay healthy

Most teams have injury issues over the course of a season. I really wouldn't worry much about him sitting the first half of this week's game.

Gase said he didn't want to put a timetable on it, but that missing week one is possible. I betting Pouncey is in the lineup week one.

Gase - "He could if things change for us or if we get some kind of diagnosis where they tell us it's going to be a longer period of time than what we originally thought. It could happen." In otherwords the current diagnosis says he'll be available, but if the diagnosis changes he might not be available.
