Life has changed for Dolphins center Mike Pouncey since he was cited in the locker room harassment scandal and labeled a bully.

He’s the only instigator remaining on the team (Richie Incognito and John Jerry are both gone). The accuser, Jonathan Martin, is also gone.

Pouncey hasn’t said much publicly, but his twin brother, Steelers Maurkice Pouncey, spoke out to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

Maurkice, who is returning from a torn ACL injury this year, seemed especially offended that the NFL has ordered that Pouncey take a psychiatrist test before he can play again.

“I’m really, really close with him, and for them to keep torturing him like that, man, it’s terrible for him,” Maurkice Pouncey told the Tribune-Review.

“With time, everything passes over, and that’s what we’re planning on.”

It was a rough year for Mike Pouncey on several levels. He was subpoenaed to testify in Massachusetts the Aaron Hernandez case. He and Maurkice were also photographed wearing “Free Hernandez” hats. They went to college at UF with Hernandez and remain close friends with him as he awaits trial on several murder counts.

Maurkice said it’s been tough for Mike that he can no longer be himself, including with the media.

“He’s outgoing like me, and it’s (tough) he has to tone it down, but they kind of take stuff and run with it,” Maurkice said. “I wish it could be a lot different for him, because I know he’s stressed out about it.”

“Whatever steps they want to take, we’re going to do it and just show people we are good guys, and all that other stuff is behind us,” Maurkice said.

Ok Mike, get over it and play...we need your probowl form and a leader on the OL.

It's easier said than done. If everyone would drop it and let it go, it would disappear. The fact that the PC police keep bringing it up over and over and over makes it intolerable. I can barely take it, I can't even imagine what he's going through. The whole situation was ridiculous to start with anyway and for the media to dwell on it is tiring. Maybe they should take a ride up to Baltimore and ask Ray Rice 7,000 questions about knocking his wife out and then dragging her out of an elevator.

Well, when you're a thug, you have that whole "Thug life" thing to deal with.
You know where you wind up if you're in Texas? Dealing with assholes like me
that run the prisons.

He isn't the one that made Martin cry and run away, the one who has isn't in the NFL

He hasn't hurt anyone.
He hasn't raped anyone.
He hasn't stolen from anyone

He simply may have gone a little too far when it came to hazing someone who is oversensitive.

Listening to all the hate on Pouncy based on all the hype that the media put out there about the entire situation tells you a couple of things. To many folks really believe and buy into what the media spews out all the time and second even if it is partially true jumping on Pouncy makes them no better than the Incognito types they think that they are calling out or standing up to.

And violated federal statues on weapons trafficking. I mean, he's doing god's work....

I think I'm on the record about the "Bully" scandal, so, I won't re hash that whole thing.

There's a simple way to avoid it.

In prison we call it; "Staying out of the way"

It's not hard when you want to.

To late for that or whatever happened or whatever anyone wants to believe the media version of what happened. Its time to move on to make the entire situation better. If some believe Martin was really tortured and hate that idea then just how do they believe they are making things better by torturing someone else like Mike with thier hateful words or works? Smell like a lot of little bullies out there. I served on a grand jury recently also and to go on record weapon trafficking was a pretty common theme the Feds were using to leverage a lot of guys they had their eyes on in this country. What were the details of that issue with Mike anyway?

So you're suggesting the feds just made it up?

You know how to avoid that?

Stay out of the way. It's remarkably easy when you have a ****ing lick of common sense.

I think buying and transporting weapns across state lines is a federal offense, is it not?
If it's not, then, I'll be super happy.

Its not illegal to transport guns across state lines.

Also, the subpoena to Poncey was regarding Hernadez's gun trafficking, not Pouncey's. A subpoena just forces Pouncey to give authorities information, it doesn't mean he broke any laws.

I think it is across certain state lines. I mean, I know I can take my CCW into most gulf coast states, but I'll get tossed in prison if I try to take them into MA.
