I mean it's not just like they watched the game together - Pouncey answered questions about it afterwards. Poor choice. Should have watched the game with him and kept it to himself that they did.

Right...why on earth would he feel the need to tell the press that he watched the game with Richie?

Pouncey seems more like the criminal-type to me then Richie.
Richie just seems more like a meathead.
Maybe not malicious on purpose, but a bit too dense to be aware of how his actions may be taken.
Too late for him, though, his actions are in the national spotlight now and, malicious, or not, he will be released for them.

What it comes down to is everyone blowing this whole, Pouncey watched the game with Ingcognito thing way out of proportion.

It's really not that big of a deal. He watched the game with his friend and teammate..... so what. I am trying to find the news worthiness in this but I can't.

Completely disagree. You can't play for the first time in your career. You and your good friend and teammate who happens to line up next to you for the team you are watching! Who cares. maybe just maybe they don't care about what the media says, and want to watch the game with their friend

I can't see that at all. My first reaction was two teammates that happen to be not playing currently, watching their team together instead of home alone. Really people what is so stupid for him to be with RI?? The more I read the more thankful I am so picky with who I call my friends. A true friend doesn't shun you bc you have some controversy going on. If anything I see it as a teammate showing lack of prejudice towards the accusations RI has against him.

and for the record....yes I am a cogs supporter. I do believe he is a little hotheaded and ridiculous sometimes but he does not in any way deserve what is going on. There is no way anyone could convince me that our locker room is even a tiny bit different than any team in the league. There isn't a one of you on here that doesn't or hasn't spoken to his guy buddies in a vulgar way. I love it when people look into their magic crystal balls and tell us of the results. Aside from a major collapse, I dont see how we dont resign Pouncey. Although Ireland loves filling holes and creating new holes in the same offseason so if he is still our GM who knows.
