I haven't really heard anything on Pouncey and his snapping. Anyone that's gone to some practices have any idea? Especially how he's doing in the shotgun?

I can only tell you what I have seen from his senior bowl practices. He had issues with snapping.

Have heard reports from Dolphins camp that this continues and have also heard reports that its a non issue.
Guess we will know soon enough.

I misinterpreted the thread title and thought he flipped out on some reporters or something...lol...he seems like he's generally a really nice kid though

He's had a few issues but that's understandable when he's snapping to three or four different quarterbacks

From what I gather from the beat reporters is that the concerns from college were greatly overblown. His snaps have been fine all camp, with the exception of a few snaps yesterday. Apparently he had some high shotgun snaps and had a fumble exchange with Devlin. Other than that, it is a non-issue.

Ive heard he has had no problems snapping the balls in practice.. not sure about his line calls or how he will do when he has a 350lb lineman on him at snap. Although I heard he did stand up Solai a couple times.

From everything I've read its not an issue, maybe an occasional botch every now and then, but he's a rookie and it's training camp..

Pouncey should be playing Guard anyway, let Incognito play Center where he faired well last year. At least for the first year or two.

"A day after having one of his best days of camp, rookie C Mike Pouncey struggled on Wednesday. Working out of the shotgun, several of his snaps were high or wide, and he was also part of a fumbled exchange.''

When all is said and done I have a feeling that the Pouncy brothers will be battling it out year in year out for the right to be the Pro Bowl AFC representative at Center

Figures the reports are mixed... but I guess we'll all get to see for ourselves tomorrow!

Florida almost lost to Miami of Ohio because of his snapping issues.

That was the first game of the year and was his first game ever as a center. He got much better as the year went on and was a non-issue by the end. Also, the Gators beat Miami of Ohio 34-12, so they didn't almost lose.
