Here they are, the Final Power Rankings for 2006. Enjoy :D
The Drum Roll:
Sorry about last week, Holidays got in the way.
So here we are the end of the 2006 season. Let me tell you I am glad it is over... well actually now that Saban is the coach of Alabama (I live in Alabama) This season will probably go on until September next year. That mans face is on every newspaper around here.. go figure.
The rankings sure have been a roller coaster this year. From starting out at an over hyped 13 in week one to hitting bottom at 24 in various weeks. We have been up and down all season long. I sincerely hope we can find the right coach to pull this team out of the gutter, right now we rank at 24 for the past three seasons (22 for '06, 19 for '05 and 30 for '04). That doesn't leave many teams under us. Let’s see if we can begin to turn things around next season!!
Thanks for reading the rankings and the kind comments this year. I hope you have enjoyed this post. I look forward to posting this again next season.
Later and GO FINS!!!!!

Dolphins Rank: 24 (-1)
Comment: One thing that might push Nick Saban out the door? A quick glance at the Dolphins' roster shows a team whose best players (Jason Taylor and Zach Thomas) are both 32 or older and no clear No. 1 QB.

Dolphins Rank: 23 (-)
Comment: Is Nick Saban gone? It sure looks like it. If he is, the coach who takes over has a lot of work to do to fix this.
Fox Sports

Dolphins Rank: 27 (-8)
Comment:The Dolphins started this season as the chic pick to win the AFC. They ended it in flux. Who’s their quarterback next year? Cleo Lemon? Joey Harrington? Daunte Culpepper? Or do they take a JaMarcus Russell or a Troy Smith in the draft? More importantly — who’s their coach? Is Nick Saban still on the Dolphins sidelines next year? Or is he guiding the Crimson Tide down in Tuscaloosa? It will certainly be an interesting off-season down in Miami this year.

Dolphins Rank: 24(-4)
Comment: Poetic justice. My two Super Bowl participants end up kissin' cousins in the Badlands of the rankings. Yeah, I picked them 11-5 and AFC East champs. Yeah, I had 'em upsetting the Steelers in the divisionals and beating Peyton and the boys in the AFC Championship. You had to go and remind me, right?
