95% of the time I think Florio is a jack@ss but I thought this was funny, because, its almost common sense.

25. Dolphins (5-9; No. 23): In roughly two weeks, they’ll offer the head-coaching job to the top candidate on their list, who will respectfully decline.

I was also surprised we arent lower than 25.

that's way too high...this is a bottom 5 nfl team all day long right now

As usual Florio is garbage and has probably not watched us play. If he had we'd be around 30 mark.

He is right about the top coaches declining. Remember how Ross settled for Failbin?
It is going to happen again. Campbell may end up the HC by default or god forbid, Eric Mangina.
No top coach wants to be a part of Ross/ Tannenbaum.

Florio is right in a sense. Something I have been saying for awhile...whoever they ask first must say "yes".

With the lack of talent on both sides of the ball and Ross' history of making foolish decisions they may very well get turned down more than once.

Speaking of power ratings, I noticed this article a few days ago, ranking the NFL uniforms.

http://www.aol.com/article/2015/12/18/hot-debate-ranking-the-best-and-worst-nfl-jerseys/21285650/

Dolphins were 27th. Seemed about right, considering our self-inflicted downgrade. Quite a battle last Sunday. The article lists San Diego 32nd and last.

The Dolphins should have looked up Mike Dee last weekend, if he's still in San Diego. I know that area fairly well from my college days and nearby. Not too far from Tijuana and real fun. Also some real interesting characters down there. It wouldn't take too much cash and persuasion to veer Mike Dee into a down south get together for some deserved reward for the uniforms and logo he left behind. That logo might even look good on his forehead although the tail might extend a bit beyond the knuckles. Not a problem. Reshape his ear.

Get off the ****ing logo.

The power rankings where the Dolphins were 27th were for performance on the field, not the uniforms. As for uniforms, the Dolphins were a middling 17. I choose to look on the bright side by saying that at least this year's team is not disgracing the uniform they wear--in fact, they're a perfect match.

I had the EXACT same thought. AOL lawlz.

Hey, a lot of us old timers still use AOL........kind of a nostalgia thing.....

On the power rankings.....Florio is clearly going by record. Everyone South of us on the list has a worse record than we do. Not much science in this.....
