Here they are, the Power Rankings for week 8. Enjoy
The Drum Roll:
Sorry for not posting last week as I was off in Gatlinburg getting engaged!
She said yes!
Here is a pic of the happy couple!:
Anyway...
While in gatlinburg I happened into a Ruby Tuesday that was playing the Phins game. there were about 3 other phin fans in there. We had a great time... besides suffering a loss. Was the first place I have ever been that had viking fans there also.
Well it seems we really are rebuilding. The team is having some really good weeks and some pretty bad ones. THough this year is up and down, I am enjoying it 400 times more than last season.
Later and GO FINS!!!!!
Average Dolphin Rank: 24 (-2)
'08 Season Highest Rank : 20 (week 6)
'08 Season Lowest Rank : 30 (week 3 )
Next Opponet: Buffalo Jills
Current Rankings:
ESPN

Dolphins Rank: 26 (-2)
Comment: The Dolphins have gotten a reality check with back-to-back losses, including one to the Ravens at home Sunday. Like almost everybody else, consistency is a problem.

Dolphins Rank: 27 (-2)
Comment: Can we ditch the Wildcat now? It took all of four weeks to figure it out. Getting the quarterback going should be more of a priority. Chad Henne?

Comment:
The Ravens sneered at the Wildcat. It sure came and went in a hurry, didn't it? I still feel, though, that a team that devoted some real effort to true single wing principles, like Xavier Prep in NYC, would do great damage.

Guess if you were to pick a team that the wacky "Wildcat" offense would not work against, it would be the Ravens. Miami's coaches quickly shelved the gimmick after Ray Lewis and his crew shut it down, along with everything else Miami tried in losing last week to Baltimore. That's not so troubling as the 842 yards the Dolphins have allowed over the past two weeks combined.

Dolphins Rank: 19 (+3)
Comment:Defense allowing too many points to questionable offenses. Need better showing against confident Bills.
Sportz Nuts

Dolphins Rank: 24 (-4)
Comment: Wildcat offense hit a wall vs. Ravens' swarming defense. That was to be expected, they still are better than anyone thought.
AOL Sports

Dolphins Rank: 28 (-4)
Comment: Implementing the Wildcat formation really was a brilliant move on the part of the Dolphins' coaching staff, but I think over the course of the season opposing defenses will get better at stopping it as they have more film to scour. And after that offense, the Dolphins don't have much to offer.
