The Drum Roll:
We celebrated my moms BDay Sunday so no LSB update this week. With the game being so huge this weekend I hope they decide to show this one on my Local CBS affiliate.

Well, I had some more time to spend on this post today so I added a few more rankings for you guys. The total Number of rankings I am tracking is now up to 17.

We now have an average Rank of 14. In my five years of creating these posts we have only been this high once. Anyone want to guess when?

It was the preseason rank of 13 at the beginning of Nick Sabans Second and final Season with the fins. We were only that high due to the hype from the previous season when we ended with a winning streak. It only took a few games and many C-Pep sacks to plant us back in the 30's for the next two seasons.

This time it’s not hype. This time we deserve it. We have come along way dolphans.

Comment:Miami averages 6.3 yards per rush and still can't shake the Raiders. Needed late field goal just to win the game.

Comment: I know everyone else has the Dolphins a lot higher up in their power rankings than I have them in mine, but I just can't get excited about a team that needs to come from behind at the last minute to beat the Raiders.

Just to clarify I believe Covers power rankings are based on ability to beat teh spread not on overall quality

The AOL guy is a LOSER....he talked about the Fins needing a field goal to beat the Raiders but his 13th ranked team LOST to the Raiders and his 15th place team has lost 4 straight and took a field goal to beat the uhh RAIDERS.

ya that aol guy is an idiot. at least we did beat the raiders, but the jets lose to the raiders and are ranked 13, and the bills have lost 4 in a row and have a worse record then us, and just lost at home to cleveland, and they are ranked better then us. the guy obviously dosent watch football.

You know normally I wouldn't think twice about these power polls, they are nice but I take it as opinions, but one...for the first time in as long as I can remember got under my skin.

This Bryan Leonard from covers officially gets my igonrant idiot award this week. This guy is all over the place and by the time I finished his rankings I was a little more stupid and came to the conclusion its more of a list of his favorite teams than it is a power ranking.

It just proves anyone (even the most mentally challenged) can get a job. :unsure:

Considered by most media outlets as the 2 current best teams in the league according to record, they are the only other teams win longer winning streaks than us.

I don't know why but everytime I see the power ranking each week the song "Movin on up" comes to mind. LoL

That is true, but the Jets have to Lose and we have to win this weekend. Which hasn't happened yet.
